I liked James and Pia. Stefano and Jason are too over the top for me. I didn't understand Steven going to hug Jason. Did you think Jason's performance deserved that? I thought the rest of them were ok. Not bad, but not great.

I thought they all sang really well last night. I started the season off really liking Scotty, but he is starting to sound the same to me every week, and I get a little feeling he is over confident with his really low voice and his charming the camera. Ok, flame me away,:p, I feel guilty even saying it because I am a HUGE country music fan. Its hard for me to pick a favorite though, I like them all this year.

I thought everyone performed well last night but none were perfect. It is strange how we all have differing opinions. My husband and I did not care for Haley's performance but the judges raved about her. I agree that her costume did not look very good and she looked so awkward walking down the steps and walking on the stage.

I also agree that Scotty needs to work on his delivery. I love his voice but watching him he seems a little to robotic.

Jacob can really sing if you like that kind of music and singing but I just can't see him going all the way.

I have never liked Naima that much but I have to admit I really enjoyed her performance last night. She did quite well.

James is starting to grow on me. I have a feeling he will one of the top two.

I really like Thia and Pia. They are my two favorite girls.

They were GREAT last night IMO but I agree with you on the Scotty confidence. I'm getting really tired of the way he holds the mike to the side of his mouth as he looks into the camera. He is starting to become a Johnny one note.

I thought Haley picked a very inappropriate outfit for her performance. Those stairs are dangerous and she should have started off on the stage rather than the way she came down.

Absolutly not! And Ryan didn't make it any better. I don't think they should do anything like that as it may sway the audience and the voting. It is clear that they all prefer him. I think he sucks though and I don't understand why they like him soo much. He is just too over-the-top!

Janes was a bit better than usual last night. I actually enjoyed his performance. His eye twitch kinda turns me off though. I know that's shallow but I can't help it.

I wasn't as happy with overall contestants' performances last night. I think James is the most consistently entertaining, and I was disappointed with Naima dancing, I don't know if it was the camera's angle, but it didn't look very good to me.

It will be interesting to see who goes. The judges have been very complimentary to most, and not very critical. I do think that everybody remaining has potential to make recording deals already, so it's just a matter of how long they can stay in and gain more polish and exposure.

I have to say I really like the judges this year, and Jennifer has been very constructive in her comments each time which should be helpful in developing everybody's star power.

WOW WOW WOWIE What a show!!!! I wouldn't have had it any other way, everyone deserves it at this point. That was the most exciting American Idol EVER!

Alright....no letting it out of the bag......y'all are 2 hours ahead of the west coast.....and we don't get to see it until 8 p.m. Don't understand that, since it's filmed right down the hill from me....but it's not live.
