Poor Casey thought he was a gonner. And just like the rest of us he probably thought it was too early in the competition for the judges to use the save. But when They announced that he was leaving the camera panned to the judges and all three of them had looks of disbelief. You could read Randy's lips saying "What?" I knew right then and there that they would save my little teddy bear Casey. I loved that they stopped him before he was even a few bars into his song.
Come on Casey and Stefano fans!!!!!! V O T E!

Mike, you and I are going to have to have a talk!:D

I was sad to see Thia go but happy to see Naima go. My favorites are still Scotty, James and Pia.

I was sad to see Thia go too, but thoroughly expected it....she has a lovely voice...but, wasn't really knocking it out of the park.

Glad do see Niama go....

My favorites are Lauren, Pia, James and Scotty.

My favs too if only Scotty would quit making those faces LOL...his voice sounds so much like Randy Travis when I first heard him sing! I also like Haley but she just needs to find something and stick with it like Scotty and Lauren does and stop flinging her arms all the time LOL....

I think Thia's age had a lot to do with it. She is only 15 so I feel she will only get better. She has a beautiful voice.

I loved that duet with Lauren and Scotty. :D

I'm happy with these results. I agree that Thia can only get stronger, she was kind of getting lost among the contestants almost like she was trying to not be seen. But can we talk about those guest performances??! Awful awful awful. I mean come on now. Fantasia's collard greens and corn bread = worst song ever. I had to change it. I don't mean to be so harsh :rolleyes: but I can't believe she was a winner on AI. That must have been the tone deaf season. :thumbs_do

She was FABULOUS the year she won. I had her picked as the winner from her first audition! Her last song she did sitting on the stage. It was that old song "Summertime." And she was like I said - fabulous.
She really hasn't progress since then and in fact has digressed.

I beg to differ with you on the worst song ever. Right after she won AI she released a song title "Baby Daddy" and IT was the worst song ever. She might have written in herself. I remember hearing it on the radio and going home telling dh about it. I was laughing my butt off because it was so stupid. Sigh. What a waste of talent.

I agree that Fantasia was horrible....I don't understand how she won....I think it was last she when she made a guest appearance and she did some horrible dance on stage....poor Simon was doing the :rolleyes:

I didn't like her when she was a contestant...much less now.

I agree with you completely! Lauren and Scotty's duet was so beautiful! They were the only ones who got a standing O....

i was sad to see Thia go. i loved her preformance of the Elton John song, Danielle. i know she wasnt the best of the group but i dont think she was the worst. oh, well... i havent voted yet at all. i suppose i really should. lol.

i didnt care for Fantasias preformance on last nights show either. lol, collard greens and cornbread. i did love her when she was on American Idol though, and thought when she sang Summertime it was beautiful

I agree Fantasia's performance last night was just plain hard to watch. Hope I never see or hear her again, ever!

I cannot get enough of Haley's version of Bennie and the Jets. See below if you feel like giving it another listen :) I even bought it on Itunes which is rare for me to do with American Idol songs.

Thanks, I was blown away with her version of the song, Steven is correct, she does sing sexy! I also loved the duet with Lauren and Scotty.
