Senile keratosis! That's what my doctor called my spots and I was TERRIBLY offended! Senile indeed! I don't even qualify for the senior discount at restaurants yet. Sometimes life just isn't fair. | |

| Don't wait too long. I had a mole on my back, started turning dark and then started bleeding. I went to skin cancer Dr, they took a sample, it in fact was melanoma. But I had caught it just in time, it didn't even register on the scale they use to determine what stage of cancer it was. I went back and they removed about an inch round section of skin to ensure they got it all...and thank God they did! I don't use tanning beds anymore!! Good luck. Just write if you have anymore questions.

Poppy's Mamma ♥ Donating Member | I will go Im going to make an appointment after New Year. My grandad has suffered from skin cancer for years and years (he used to work in Libya.. the Sahara desert in fact) and has had to go through numerous skin grafts and operations all of which have been agony for him. Obviously my little mole is nothing like that but seeing first hand how bad skin cancer can be I feel really stupid for ever using sunbeds...
