Don't wait too long. I had a mole on my back, started turning dark and then started bleeding. I went to skin cancer Dr, they took a sample, it in fact was melanoma. But I had caught it just in time, it didn't even register on the scale they use to determine what stage of cancer it was. I went back and they removed about an inch round section of skin to ensure they got it all...and thank God they did! I don't use tanning beds anymore!! Good luck.
