Passive aggresive? She simply stated her thoughts. the meanness on this forum is unbelievable. I can only imagine what ones day to day life is like with so much anger all the time. Anger stemming from not being able to control everyone.

One cannot force their beliefs on other people. You can only make suggestions. If they don't agree, well you tried, that is all you can do. but trying to bully someone is always going to have a negative impact.

As for that breeder...she posted a dog at a ridiculously young age for sale and her ad was not clear. No one knew who she was, but she did; and she said it! And, then started using illness? I am sorry she is ill, but the fact remains the ad was offensive. She changed it, but everyone wanted to jump all over someone else for speaking the truth about the ad. Typical for some of the breeders on here who always stick together......one was speaking up against it, then turned around and backed her up, saying she did not read the last line. The last line STILL did not make it right even if a person did read it. The woman changed the ad and yet people still went on and on about how mean the others were.
I say let it die. I am going to let it die for me right now because to even participate any more in this is a waste of time. I have much better things to do.

The good thing about this thread is that it shows that so many people on YT are kind. Sure, there's griping, but there's more people on the forum who lead with kindness than judgment.

Jeanie....you are not the only one getting messages. Howver, most people are afraid to PM here. So, they will message on Facebook or email me. Do you know how many times I have heard, Thanks for speaking up?

I had a feeling that I wasn't the only one. I even had an email the other day, someone just wanted an answer and did not want to be interrogated.

I wasn't going to say anything else, cause I really didn't think it would do any good, but I have been a member for awhile and I have ever right to speak my mind good or bad. so here it goes

I truly love this forum, always have, I think when people say it has changed, it has lost the personal family/friend aspect to it. I have made great friends and use to couldn't wait to get back on everyday when I could. Its a great place still, but the compassion and respect is somewhat lacking.

I don't think there are two groups on here, it is always said their are meanies and those that protest the loudest, we all have conviction about this breed, some less than others, I don't like to see bad breeding practices either, and I am very outspoken, and will stand up to others, I will take up for others if I don't think its right, regardless if I like them or not, and I will tell someone if I think they are wrong.

How can you teach others that come on here and change if all there is controversy, I am not saying don't educate and help, but doing so you have to have some tact about it.

Who would like to go to school and hear only how bad you are, you not good enough, or you should do it this way. You wouldn't last long, you would quit listening fast. I not saying sugar coat it either, but if you really feel that strong of a conviction and want to change others, doing with kindness and compassion will get to them, more than jumping up and down, screaming and yelling, so to speak.

I honestly believe most of us are here for one thing, the love of yorkies, we all need to listen and learn, no one is above that. Living with yorkies or any other breed, is a day to day learning experience in itself.

Its a forum about our beloved yorkies, but it is also a place where there are good people that are human behind the screens that have feelings, hopes and dreams. A little respect and compassion would do wonders for everyone.

Everyone knows I am not Dee's biggest fan, but what happen yesterday in my opinion was bad. It shouldn't of been brought here. I believe they knew who it was, it states her name on the ad and that she was in KY, even I knew it was her after reading it. There has been too many recent threads about how they do there homework and investigate and find who people are.

No where on the ad did it say take home now, it said deposit clearly. I just wish you had suggested to your friend to contact a YTCA member if she is looking, and sent Dee a email asking her to make her ad more clear instead of bring it here.

No matter what anyone feels about her she is very ill, and didn't deserve that. You could have handle it private.

There will always be positive and negative things here, as in any community. What is interpreted as positive or negative is subjective to each individual.

What a person chooses to focus their energy on (negative or positive), is really up to the individual.

If you want to see more positive, then BE more positive. It really can be that simple.

At the end of the day, there is ALWAYS heaps more positive here than negative. If one looks around the board at some of the other 3,346,956 posts ...it's pretty clear that positive things happen here every single moment.
