| National Dog Show 2010 I just had to post how pleased I was that as the Yorkie was being shown, the announcer stated there was no such thing as a 'teacup' and this term is often used to sell smaller yorkies. Also, when you purchase smaller Yorkies, you may be getting into more health problems. I don't know how many people were watching, being that it is Thanksgiving, but it was still nice to see this information shared with the public. |

| Soemthing I am skeptical of, however, according to the Purina ProPlan commercials, most show dogs are fed this food. Is this true? |

Donating YT 500 Club Member | I wondered this as well. I also know if Purina is sponsering the event they are going to push you to buy it. I am not a fan a purina personally. I also have have watched the dog shows that are sponsered by Euckanuba, again I am not a fan either. I just think its a selling gimic, who knows if the breeders use it. Maybe they do, hopefully they don't. |

| Jack looked great and beautifully presented by Vicki Meadows. She does an exceptional job in grooming him. Nice that he took a Group 4. It's so rare that yorkies place in the Group ring.....

| I've heard that a lot of breeders and show people feed Purina and Eukanuba. But I also heard they get a lot of free stuff from them, like breeder's specials, buy one bag get another free, etc. Things like that. So I'm sure they are pushed to feed and support their foods. Or they simply honestly don't know any better. And I did not catch the dog show today - but glad they said that about Yorkies!

| I missed the show, but my friend/neighbor/mentor recorded it so I'll get to watch it later. Jack is absolutely spectatular and Vicki is one of the most gracious ladies I have met. Even though she is all business when it comes to Jack, Vicki is always willing to answer questions and give pointers. I was fortunate to have spent a couple of evenings with her and Jack last month while she was showing in Atlanta. It was a real treat to get to watch Jack relaxing with the other furkids while visiting with Vicki, Anna and Judy and Liza. Sometimes it is hard for me to really believe that two Jack pups will be coming to my house in the near future. WOWSIE! Can't wait!!!! I get to visit them several times a week -- it is so fun watching them grow and develop. I agree that it was absolutely wonderful that the announcer provided the truth about "teacups", just think of the millions of folks that were exposed . |

| If you missed the show, you can watch it on NBC's website! The National Dog Show- NBC Sports It's split into group segments, so it's kind of a pain to piece together, but I love that they made it available online!

| Most I know dont' feed Purina except for handlers that get free food from the companies! Most exhibitors I know do not feed Purina, some Euk or Royal Canine but I know more that do not feed that...more and more are going with the no grain foods |

| I loved watching the recorded version last night, after I came home from Thanksgiving festivities. Jack, the Yorkie, looked beautiful and so glad he came in fourth. Did I hear that he is the #1 Yorkie in points this year?
