| Recon is the best of the best. Swift, SIlent and Deadly was their Motto. I was with 1/9 and we had a few operations with the 3rd Force Recon. (Each Division had their own). Instead of Swift, Silent and Deadly, some of these guys were Slow, Noisy, and Hazardous to us if they called in Artillery. No doubt if your Dad was with Recon, he would have a lot of interesting storeis to share. I still really never talk about it unless it is with another old Vet that was there. Different time. |
