| The past 2 years I've been so busy that I've haven't been that creative and have answered the door as a classic witch. DD was a voodoo doll and this year is planning to go as a victim from the movie Birds. She's making her own costume - it's going to be very cool! My favorite costume(s) were from 2008 when we dressed as cows - myself, our baby Maltese, Bella & DD. As you can see little Bella wasn't having much of it - and DD doesn't really want to be associated with that silliness via pic online now! LOL It was 'udderly' ridiculous but we had a lot of fun!

| I finished my steampunk goggles last night. I might add some riveting to the sides, they look a little plain to me still. These were old Willson steel mill protective goggles. The used to have rubber straps but were all old and dried out. I put the leather one on. I'm going to wear them on top of my head like a headband. then hopefully I'll get these old round eyeglasses in time to wear on my face and add on my magnifying loupes. ![]() I'm excited, haven't had a new costume in a while.

| Thats a good question. They are looking really cute. They painted them so far. I will post a picture as soon as I get one of them. Your costume looks like it's going to be a winner!!

| Awesome steampunk laser gun! I have been wanting to put together a steampunk costume. This year I will be Axel, cuz I'm a nerd, from Kingdom Hearts 2 with my Sakura dressed up as a heartless from the game too. |

I love steampunk bc there are really no rules. Its a time period that never really existed. So my "character" is an explorer. I attached little test tubes to my corset for "samples". A compass necklace so I know which way I'm going, the magnifying loupes on my glasses so I can closer inspect things, etc. And of course my laser gun in case I need to defend myself. ![]() The cool thing about steampunk is incorporating it into 21st century technology. Like a steampunk computer. I wanna get one some day. The 1st pic is the computer tower. How cool is that?

| As I mentioned, we're going to be Gomez and Morticia for a party tomorrow night, but today my boyfriend had to be a crayon with everyone at work. We spent a few hours this week making his costume, and he just told me that everyone else at his office is just wearing colored shirts! Oh well, he's really outgoing so the costume works well for him! What do you think?

| one time my coworkers and I decided to be a yahtzee came. Several of us wore boxes (we were the dice) and one person was the score card. Every so often we would line up with the same number showing and yell "Yahtzee!" |
