| Hotmail Users, BEWARE!!! I've seen more and more people get their hotmail accounts hacked into. Spamers get in your account and send mass emails to your contact lists with links to viagra sellers, electronics, and anything else they can think of. Please be careful and make sure to change your password and report it ASAP!! It seems to be happening more and more often.

| It has happened to my husband's email....a viagra advertisement was sent to me as if it had come directly from him but in actuality, his account was hacked into. It also happened to my friend (twice that I know of). Tammy |

| It happened to me once a long while ago, and the hackers actually kicked me out completely! It's happened to a few people on my contacts list in the past few weeks. I'm just saying, user beware.

| This is why you need to be careful of what you open in your e-mails, and spam is on the rise right now. Also make sure you keep your anti-virus programs up to date. Also using a 3rd- party program like Mozilla Thunderbird, it pulls all your e-mails to your computer, and cuts out the chance of a hidden program to scan for your passwords in the browsers cookies Remote Tek Support Last edited by Roboyorkie; 08-20-2010 at 04:47 AM. |

| It's happen to me also... I heard that it sends out spam in order in other words it goes down your list of contacts starting with your first contact and one by one sends out spam so if you make your first contact a fake one that pretty much goes nowhere then it will stop....my friend had sent me a email about a year ago on how to do it I tried to find the email so I could share it with everyone but I must have deleted it...

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Yup, this happened to me. My entire contact list was sent links to viagra-type sites.

PS.....I think a lot of the problem is FB.

I think they do it to try and embarrass people - bc inevitably, all your contacts end up replying to you with something like "Sooooo, how's the libido then?" -- .

| You need to let your contact know this is happening, he/she may not be aware of it. Your contact needs to report it ASAP and change his/her passwords. You can report it too.
