I connected you to the wrong thread....thought it was about breeding between two pups, not about vaccinations. Sorry about that, but I guess my message is still relevant though. People here see so many bad things, the economy has turned peoples lives inside out, and this heat.....omg. I think everyone hits their boiling point at one time or another and ends up spouting out things that they do not necessarily mean. As with my earlier posts I do feel that rudeness is not the standard as much as the exception to the rule here; which unfortunately, we all have broken at least once. Do not take it personally, or let it hurt your feelings, as everyone here including yourself, has something to offer in the way of education and knowledge. We all learn from each other, thats what makes this place special. Both old and young have unique experiences that can be brought into the arena of knowledge so that we all may learn. I hope this kind of clears up where my thoughts were headed, sorry for the confusion Bribunny. Last edited by lil fu fu girl; 08-18-2010 at 08:38 AM. | |

| I'm sorry you had an unpleasant experience. I admit I lurked for a while before I started posting. I learned what some people are very passionate about and stay away from those subjects. I don't know that they always really mean it as badly as it sounds in writing. The bad thing about writing is that you miss out on tone. I hope you stay with us for the wealth of good information you can gain here. I've learned a lot and have connected with some really great people here.

| don't let it get to you, maybe they were having a bad day (their Yorkie pee'd in their cornflakes) Sometimes a response may come across as a criticism but don't take it to heart. The people on here care as much about their fur babies as you do for your's and just want to make sure you avoid making awful mistakes also remember writing communications may not be their strong suit and English may be a second language, so what appears harsh may just be bad grammar. |

| The biggest thing for me is that it is disheartening when you ask a question and feel attacked before you have even decided what you are going to do on an issue. Manners go a long way. Or, since I know tone is hard to communicate, ASK for clarification before assuming someone meant something they didn't. Just a friendly reminder from a newbie. |

| Aw i am sorry you feel so upset about a remark on your post. I have had the same thing happen on a few of my posts by the same person but yet he never has anything nice to say on anyones posts only horrible nasty comments which everyone has remarked on and its a shame, but i guess you always have one right! I find everyone else VERY helpful and kind. I think things can come across harsh sometimes but overall they mean well and just want to help and support you. Take what you can from things and leave the bad. I learn my lesson when i started off on this forum, reading a thread and getting very upset about some of the replys back to this lady and tried to stick up for her.... only to find out her posts where deleted by admin and i looked very stupid and was very sorry. Some memebers have not really forgotten me for that and have never bothered replying to any of my threads and have ignored me etc but i can only say i am sorry so many times and move on, if they cant forgive and forget then again its a shame I love yorkie talk, there so many WONDERFUL people on here and coming here everyday cheers me right up! 99.9% of people are soooo lovely here and offer the best advice!! Poppy has so many internet mummys I have learnt the hard way that people on this site just want the best for yorkies aswell as you do so dont take anything to heart and take it as advice and support... thats what i try to do anyway as i am a very new yorkie mummy and love to have people helping me that are so experianced in the breed. Yorkietalk is a fantasic place with great advice xxxx

| Most of the time it is us just needing to not take a post so seriously. There are a few on here that need to take a course in human kindness but they show all their hatrid on here and dont go unnoticed

| Thanks. Like I stated I might have overreacted and took things the wrong way. You live and learn. It's over and done with, and there is nothing more we can do. That being said, thanks for the kind comments. I hope to make the right decision.

| I'm also new and although I personally haven't been bashed I have seen others that have... So now I only welcome newbies or reply to happy threads I doubt I will ask a question anytime soon... Which sucks because that's what I joined for.. Besides the only thing everyone says is to "take them to the vet" duh!! That a given but how about some help in the mean time so that at least we know what we are talking about when we get to the vet..

| I've been on YT for about 4 years now and it has grown and it has changed, but I love this site! I've learned so much and I've really enjoyed the stories, pictures and all the opinions. I don't agree with everything I read, but how could I expect to? That's never going to happen on a forum like this where the topic is something we are all passionate about! I'm sorry that someone hurt your feelings!
