Matt, I have another question for you.

I have a 5 year old (approx) Dell at home that I use just for Internet and picture editing. I'm able to transfer pictures from my camera to the computer, but when I try to open/view the pictures I get a message that they're too big. I have no problems opening the pictures on my computer at work. Is there a way to edit the size so I can view them at home? Or will that involve having to upgrade my pc?

try opening in paint, you can also try out this program IrfanView - Official Homepage - one of the most popular viewers worldwide

Thanks Toby's Mom for helping me test out my server, and glad you liked the optimization I did on your computer, think you notice a difference now, wait till you get your new memory!

I'm not Matt, but I've had that happen too on my older computer. The problem was that the software I used to open the pic file were old versions. It wasn't a problem with the newest photo edit programs that I had. You may have a different problem going on, but this is what I ran into.

I should come to YT more often! My laptop crashed last week and is now at the computer Dr :( I was having the same trouble with this desktop, but I have updated avast, malwarebytes, and downloaded superantispyware, I was still getting notices that trojans were trying to attack. I have just downloaded to IE8 and hope that might help. I deleted all my cookies, etc, using CCleaner.

Just before I opened YT I did have another IE window open, but it said site couldn't be found, and I hadn't clicked on anything??? According to the IT guy at my office, who is the one that is working on my laptop, he said you have to run a "cocktail" of the spyware thingys to get some of the ones that are getting through now.

If I continue to have trouble with this computer, I may contact you, because it isn't as easy to take a desktop in as it is a laptop ;)

yea, I've gotten it down to a art, run a diagnostic program so i know what i'm dealing with and know exactly which program to run, so cuts down on the time wasted running a program that doesn't fix the infection. Sounds like you still have some things lingering from the removal process you did, you shold run the registry cleaner in CCleaner. Just let me know when you would want me to have a look at your computer
