| How Many Times Does Your Doctor/Dentist Call You To Confirm? I think my biggest problem with my dentist office (been with them since 99) is that they call to confirm my appointment in the beginning of the month of my appointment, then they email me in the middle of the month, and call AGAIN a few days before my appointment . . .I just don't get it . . .I already told them I'd be there . . .it's just aggravating! I guess she noticed I was a bit p'o'd about it because my cell just rang and I saw it was the dentist office and I answered "Yes, I know, Friday, 4pm, I'LL BE THERE!"

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | That would bug me too, bc I'm really good about keeping appts.; my docs only give 1 reminder call and that's plenty .

| We get an automated call the day before from the clinic about dr. appts. and the dentist's office personally calls the day before an appt. That's plenty of reminder for me. Sounds like maybe your's have been swamped with no-shows so now are getting aggressive on the reminders.

| My just calls the day before. But my husband had a specialist that used to call a couple of times. When my hubbie got there though, he used to have to wait 2 to 3 hours to get seen. Last time they called to confirm, I was tempted to ask them if I should call them before the appointment to remind them that the appointment was for 1pm not 4pm. LOL |

| Dentist used to call once. Now they have an automated system and sometimes they call once besides that. No calls from doctor's office. They probably like no shows. It gives them 2 minutes to sit down. lol. Vet's office is a call the day before or none at all. Yes, I'd hate three reminders also.
