| Anne, So glad that your hubby is doing better. It is my understanding that Scorpions are a problem in the south of France and they use Lavender as a natural repellent. Cut lavender on window sills and thresholds. Lavender oil and soaps in dark areas. Since they are low to the ground and sensitive to moisture loss, a black light when hunting them down in your house. Once a nest has been established and they've multiplied a professional is needed. It seems that may be necessary anyway to do away from their food source; other insects...do away with insects they leave.

| Glad to hear he's ok, but how scary was that??? OMG. Have you found the scorpion yet? I'd be afraid the pups might encounter it!

| So, what are my plans for next Saturday night, you ask? Um, yeah, everyone is being locked inside a sealed, padded room with nothing but water .
Wow, that sounds like a great idea to me. So sorry it's sound so scary. |

Mary/Mardelin - good tip on the lavendar, I've never heard of this . Hubby is doing much better - he took a 5 hour nap. The tingling has left his arms/fingers and is now mainly in his feet and his left foot is painful. He's just exhausted, poor fella.

|
We've always worried about this w/ the doggies. And we get our house sprayed for scorpions. In fact, it was just sprayed 2 weeks ago, so I'm calling the exterminator in the morning to see what they say I should do. I still have not found it
In that case I wouldn't be slipping on any shoes or slippers!...

| I am glad your husband recovered as fast as he did after the reaction. In Anthem, everytime I would return there after months in the Chicago area, there would always be scorpions in the house. Not sure how they got in, as everything was sealed up tight, but not as tight as I thought. I always spend the forst 15 minutes going theu the entire house looking for them, and they were usally in the bathrooms. Tarantulas in the back yard were also a pain, as well as an occasional rattler, and packs of Coyotes. God, I sure do miss AZ! |
