We've always worried about this w/ the doggies. And we get our house sprayed for scorpions. In fact, it was just sprayed 2 weeks ago, so I'm calling the exterminator in the morning to see what they say I should do. I still have not found it

Thank God you were there when this happened ! That's the one thing I really hate about being alone now - I'm all I have if something happened and it scares me sometimes just thinking of the 'what if's' - I do have a great neighbor - a few actually ....but it's not the same as having someone right there like I used to when my husband was alive.

Yup they are really common here - especially bc we live near a nature preserve. But we even see them at our office, which is in the middle of the city. Scorpions just thrive here. My heart just goes out to you bc I know how much you miss your husband, and your words remind me to never take things for granted.

Hubby is doing much better - he took a 5 hour nap. The tingling has left his arms/fingers and is now mainly in his feet and his left foot is painful. He's just exhausted, poor fella.
