| ![]() I got a hardwood cleaning kit one time when I had hard wood floors in my old house, it came with this spray that was specifically for hard wood floors only. When I looked at the ingedients (is that what id call them?? LOL) it was mostly alcohol. I remember thinking next time i"ll just dilute some straight alcohol with water and spray it on the floors and wipe it off with a cotton towel. It seemed to work pretty well. For shine I used to spray pledge on the floors and wipe it off.... granted that can get expensive, but you don't need a ton or anything!

| ![]() I have heard that you can put a dryer sheet on the swiffer vac too. It supposed to attract all the hair. I haven't tried it, but it sounds logical.
