| OMG It Was Sooooo Hot Last Night! A Vent Let me just say we had one of those weird days where it was 87 degrees and HOT yesterday. I already told DH that if we EVER have another day like that, I didn't care what date on the calendar it was, I was putting on the A/C. When I went to bed last night it was over 80 degrees in my house, windows open and all. Hardly any breeze, it was sooooo warm and still. The babies sleep with us and all I hear is Rhianna panting . . I was tossing and turning and trying to stay as cool as possible, but all you hear is . . .and poor Brody (who's always cool) was trying to find someone to snuggle up with because we kicked off the comforter and sheet . . .it was a horrible night's sleep!

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | The east coast (where I grew up) has had some serious weird weather - from last summer and all the rain and cold - to the freezing winter and now flooding - I really wonder what is going on the last few years with the weather action the opposite of what's normal I'm in houston - used to 80 deg nights and here it is today quite cold - I'm loving it -no air conditoning yet and that's a good thing |

| It was hotter in CT than GA! That is unreal!! This weather is really crazy! GA is covered with pollen, so it is really hard to breathe if you are outside for more than 5 minuts. My son works in CT, Hartford; I'm originally from there. Quote:

| I've never understood the whole when-to-turn-your-AC-on debate! Maybe it's because I'm only 25 and it seems that my parents' and grandparents' generations were real sticklers about when the AC comes on. But I do consider myself a penny-pincher. I mean, I'm very careful to turn off lights when I leave a room, I try to conserve my water, and I bargain hunt, etc. But when it comes to being comfortable, I don't care what the DATE is!! If it were 30 degrees in July, I'd have my heater on. And if it is 80 in December, then I'm turning my AC on. (Actually, I think last Thanksgiving I did have my AC on one day b/c it was abnormally hot.) I figure it doesn't actually cost that much to run the AC for a day (and I'm not talking keeping it at 65). Plus, it's my money and my comfort is important to me!! Especially at night. Soooooooo glad my hubby agrees with me on this or we might have to sleep in different houses or something!! -C
