I can only imagine what it must feel like joining a forum and posting your first day. Proudly wanting to share your pups. .......your post shares more information and shoots up red flags all over the place......very overwhelming and intimidating.

No way are Yorkie passionate YT members gonna sit still and keep their fingers quiet.

I think most of us have been toasted.....some only once. Me, I've been toasted for things toally unrelated to a thread subject.....and by some asking for my help......sometimes for things I don't have a clue why?

This is life, this is an open forum and we can't control how we want people to act/post. For every finger pointing at someone, there are 3 pointing at yourself. The only person we have control over is ourselves......And as Michael Jackson sang....If you want to make a change, take a look at yourself.

I read this and almost fell on the floor laughing. My wife thought I hurt myself! But, every one of those four words are true. Just wish I could change one word...OLD. Just an old Former Marine, and now retired. Actually, I do have 2 jobs. Walking the Dogs, and making sure my wife is happy.

And both jobs are of extreme importance. But, if momma's not happy no body is.

I thought that was cute too - what Mary wrote. My hubby is retired too and I think he is so busy now than when he worked for someone else. It is hard to do everything around the house. So much to get done. Work is never finished. I do not know what I would do without him around and know your wife feels the same.

Wow. Wow. Wow. Btw...if I get banned for just wanting people to be nicer to eachother that is totally fine with me! My world will not come to a crashing halt without YT. Some of you seem to be so threatened by what I have brought up! That says a whole bunch about some people. I am not asking you to change your beliefs, standards or honest opinions on things...that is necessary and good for those of us who are new. I just think it can be done without tyraids, accusations, name calling and outright meaness. If you have a problem with that I feel really sorry for you. It's okay if you don't agree with me you have that right. I'm talking to the people who have had those same experiences and do agree with me! This was my experience, it was horrendous and I've just brought it to the attention of whoever wants to listen and be supportive. If that's not you don't continue to read. To post comments accusing me yet again of trying to get attention or making people feel sorry for me is completely lame and unfortunately shines a big spot light on where you are really coming from. No where in here did I play a violin and ask people to feel sorry for me! I don't happen to be insecure, I have a ton of knowledgeable support already but do feel sorry for future people who may come on this site looking for help because they don't have it anywhere else and would experience this. All I'm saying is that if you are confident in that knowledge and your experience you should need to bash people over the head with it and you certainly shouldn't feel threatened by me, a newbie voicing my opinion on this subject. Everything in life can be done and said with class, decorum, civility and kindness...this is not junior high! If saying that gets me "banned" I'm fine with that, maybe enough people have read this that do agree (no matter what you think on that) and people will stop and think how their words sound before they participate in a thread like the other day. If not, I gave it a shot and lost nothing for trying! I would venture to say that if no one got kicked off the other day for being rude I'm not going to get kicked off for trying to make things more positive! In any case completely do not care one way or the other! This was completely worth it to me!

Everyone here has wished you the best of luck. Stay, go, it is up to you. Just get off the box, and start acting as if you want to participate and get along. Sounds to me though that you would be happier on another venue.

Instead of posting off another overly long rant, how abbout starting at the top of the forum and read down, and realize that the vast majority of posts here are information, and very friendly. It will take you months to read oall of them, so you had best get busy now.

BTW, I am not what one would call politically correct, and call it as I see it. Go to your Guru, she will comfort you in this time of stress.

Again, this is one great group of people. Imagine, 60,000 users. That is the equivelant of 3 Marine Corps Divisions, and I guarantee you, not all of them see eye to eye, and are drinking buddies, but we all pull in the same direction when needed.

And I am taking a look at myself! If I stay on YT I will be the first to be positive to welcome some who is new, fresh, non experienced and until they prove that they are here for the wrong reasons I will do my best to make them feel welcome, help if I can and if I can't point them to someone experienced who won't make them feel like an idiot if they state something wrong, make a mistake or have an opinion that may differ from mine! I won't give advice when it's not asked for and I will be kind. I can't change what anyone else chooses to do, I can only say what I will do and hope more people will step up to do the same! People here are very open to teaching and helping people who are new to the breed, dont know a lot, etc.

However, the issue they have is with people who THINK they know everything.

You have stated that you have the best breeder, that you have and continue to breed your dogs and have a lot of knowledge and experience... so you are not coming across as one of these "fresh, young" people who people feel the need to "gently" educate.
