| My DH is gross : ( I have been trying really hard to get my DH to eat healthier foods and make better meal choices when eating out which he does way to much of. Well this morning while I was tieing up the kitchen trash bag I saw the grilled chicken and steamed veggies I prepared for him to have for dinner last night-not a bite out of it. Then....I caught him pouring half & half in his shredded wheat cereal. He said "I thought it was the milk, I'll eat it, don't want to waste it" EEWWW! Just had to vent

| I would KILL him! Seriously, throwing away perfectly good food? That does make me angry. My husband had a heart attack 3 years ago. Ever since then, I have been watching everything he eats. His habits are much better, but there is still room for improvement. Here's what I don't get---HE is the one who needed to lose 20 lbs. But I am the one who changed my habits and lost 20 lbs, NOT HIM! He still eats too much and is not willing to be the least bit hungry. Drives me crazy. |

| Lol my hubby is the same way (BTW will someone please tell me what "DH" stands for? I get the "H" is for husband... I always assume it means "Dumb Husband" lol!). I have been maintaining a low-carb liftstyle since January (and have lost 40 lbs so far!) and my hubby still eats the same crap every day! It's terrible, fast food, sodas, fries, chips... I don't know what to do. I told him it would be nice if he went low-carb with me so that I could have some support, but no... that would be the end of the world! He has high blood pressure already and is taking medication for that, I don't want him to be unhealthy!

Keep up the healthy lifestyle, maybe it will rub off. I picked up a great book "clean eating by tocsha reno" which has wonderful recipes we both enjoy, however DH will modify his plate with extra butter, olive oil, barbaque sauce and ketchup but it beats making two completely difffernt meals.~wendy
