I don't know what to do. I told him it would be nice if he went low-carb with me so that I could have some support, but no... that would be the end of the world! He has high blood pressure already and is taking medication for that, I don't want him to be unhealthy!
Congratulations on the weightloss, you must feel great! I'm so glad you did it with a life style change, it really helps keep the weight off and to understand what your body is capable of. I tried to to introduce him to low carb but he resisted so I went with *no white* and switched everything to whole grains and wheats, not his favorite but he tolorates it. Last night he put sugar on his ice cream.........I give up! DH is for Dear Husband, I like the idea of Dumb husband in this case..lol.
Keep up the healthy lifestyle, maybe it will rub off. I picked up a great book "clean eating by tocsha reno" which has wonderful recipes we both enjoy, however DH will modify his plate with extra butter, olive oil, barbaque sauce and ketchup but it beats making two completely difffernt meals.~wendy
