| As a professional...I recommend you return to the shop, and have her tone down the lites. If you try to fix it, and still don't like it, you can't return for a fix. They are not what you asked for, therefore there should be no charge. If there is, it should not be more than the price of a toner.(Plus I would not return~ in future~ to a shop, that charged to correct their mistake) IMO...

| Ok, honestly I think that it looks subtle and it just brightens you up a bit. But I also know that when I get my hair done and it is not how I expected it, that it will drive me insane. I think it looks good, and will be nice for the spring and summer. but if you can find something to tone it down a bit and that makes you feel better then go for it because what really counts is how you feel about it.

| I think that she went a lil crazy with the highlights. come summer you will probably love it and they will lighten up. I think it looks good. give a few days and see how you feel. If you still don't like it I would call your hairdresser and tell her your not happy. As many highlights as you have I would NOT try and attempt to change the color yourself. You might end up with a disaster and that would be a lot worse than not liking your highlights. I think you look good with highlights, sometimes a change like that takes a few days to get use to. Good luck!

Maybe i wasn't clear with what i wanted...all I said was I wanted beach blonde highlights but thats what i told the other lady too and she did it perfect so i thought this lady would do that same. I thought that's what the 'bayalage' method was. i didnt know it could look so diff.

My thinking is, if you mess with them, you are stuck with what you get! If you return, you are likely to get something you can live with... they look quite nice, but they are not suble, IMO (I am going off line, for the w/e, so good luck with your decision)

| There is actually 3 differnt common methods. The girl who did the first color, you can see, worked very thin strands or maybe even did highlights & low lights. It looks great, if you do decide to use the JF or Pantene, they are both temorary and won't damage your hair.

| My Tiny Treasures Donating Member | Your so cute! ![]() I like the front, the back looks like there is more blond to me. but I still think it looks good. How do you like the bangs? They look cute on ya. I've tried bangs but they drive me nuts feeling them on my face. |

| The John Frieda color glaze is a conditioning color glaze that adds shine a subtle color. There is also a clear glaze, red and blonde. It's great for adding a hint of color to brighten and also seals the hair shaft and works wonders on dry over processed hair. I have the same hair color as you with blonde highlights, when the roots are too over powering I use the glaze to tone the blonde down so I don't *actuallly look* like I'm in desparate need of color. The glaze will wash out completely after 3-4 shampoos.

| Gosh, i don't know, i think i like the new look better than the old look! I think it's gorgeous and looks very beach sun kissed! HOWEVER you have to live with them and if you don't like them, return to the shop and discuss it with the beautician. You wouldn't want to end up ruining your beautiful hair and i don't think she should charge you if she didn't do what you had asked. My hairdresser wouldn't charge for a fix job. |
