Yes this is the one used for udders for cows... lol I am chemical sensitive to all detergents, soaps and fragrant in products. It's amazing what this product can be use for. They sell Bag Balm in drugs stores but this isn't the same one. The one you buy at the feed and grain is pure. This product is so gentle that I even use it on my babies for chapping if they have any problems with dry skin or rashes. I've learn to use natural products for most now and it doesn't have the high prices of some of the lotions you buy in drug and department stores. I can get a 1 lb. jar of Utter Balm for about $7.99 and it last forever. My daughter has allergies and her skin breaks out in rashes and this clears the problem in a couple of days. I've used this for years and it works great. My hands were so bad that I saw a Dermatologist and he was treating with different types of medication but only making the condition worse. I started using udder balm just to see if the condition would improve. The doctor couldn't believe the results and on one appointment, he gave me the money to bring him in a jar. Even he was sold on this products. So, it doesn't have to be expensive to be good. Kathleen Last edited by mylittlegirls; 01-12-2010 at 03:13 AM.

| I have been using Gold Bond for the past few days, and it seems to be working. I put it on my hands every time I wash them. Does anyone know if there are certain vitamins that are for dry skin? |

| Donating YT 7000 Club Member | ughhhh dry skin!!! Mine only get bad in the winter. Last year I started a thread on it too. it's HORRIBLE. for some reason this year (knock on wood!!!) they haven't been bad at all - no more than your normal dry skin. So I just use regular bath and body works lotion and they're fine. Last year I went to the dermatologist and got something called Lammonium LAC. a trick is to put globs and globs of it on and then put gloves on over it (material gloves, not winter gloves) while you sleep at night. It helps SO much. it's NASTY as anything - but when my hands got bad I would have done anything! I remember one Christmas when I was probably 5 or 6 my brother had to open all of my presents for me because my hands were so bad I couldn't undo the paper. ![]() I really hope you can find something that helps you! I know how miserable it is!!

| Burt's Bees Shea Butter hand repair cream!!! It smells kind of medicinal gross, but it works really well. You can feel it coat your hands and almost make a waxy like barrier to keep them moisturized. I like it. Rub it in well though else it feels greasy!

| OHHHH I hate dry hands. I'm a nurse and wash my hands constantly and my hands used to be almost always dry. I'm also a skin and wound care certified nurse and through my job I have come into contact with multiple lotions, creams, and potions to moisturize skin. One lotion I've found that is used in hospitals alot is called Remedy lotion, it's from the company called Medline and can actually also be ordered over the counter at Walgreens through their website - Welcome to Walgreens - Your Home for Prescriptions, Photos and Health Information I don't have any financial interest (I wish I did) but I thought I would let you guys know this is an awesome lotion for dry hands/skin. My hands have never felt better and winter is always the worst time for dry hands. Teresa |

Although specifically for hands, I have to say that my favorite hand cream is Bliss. You can get it at Sephora or online, and their grapefruit hand cream smells amazing and works wonders too. I always buy the travel size so I can take it everywhere with me. I think they even have a hand cream set that comes with a lightweight glove for hand therapy.
