Make sure to stay away from anything that has dye, fragrance, or any other irritant. You might want to think about switching dishsoap, and also the soap that you use in the shower. All of these can lead to dry, cracked skin. If you don't mind dropping $17.00, my favorite lotion that I even used on my tummy when I was pregnant was Precipitation by Origins (I have only used the Vaseline lately to save some $$)... it's amazing. You can also try mixing in a little pure Vaseline with your lotion to give some extra moisture. Hope this helps! |
I have Psoriasis too...Talconex works wonders, but I'm not a fan of using steroid creams all the time. When I was younger, I always used Eucerin before bed and put on lightweight cotton gloves or mittens and that definitely helped. But Eucerin just by itself is good too.
Although specifically for hands, I have to say that my favorite hand cream is Bliss. You can get it at Sephora or online, and their grapefruit hand cream smells amazing and works wonders too. I always buy the travel size so I can take it everywhere with me. I think they even have a hand cream set that comes with a lightweight glove for hand therapy.
