I can sort of see why people found this thread offensive, but IMO it wasn't offensive. If the OP had merely said lets list breeds we wouldn't own and it had stayed friendly, it could've been a lot of giggly fun. Specifying that you find a dog revolting is too far IMO. |

I did laugh when I read the comment about yorkies with long hair though - that was pretty bold considering what kind of site this is I felt like posting a pic of my Chanel with her 7 inch long braid..... (she's in my avatar) it sucks when your dog has better hair than you do :D |

Breeds I am not fond of: Staffies, poodles that have been shaved (the curly ones are gorgeous) and rotties. |
I am not fond of any of the big slobbery dogs. I'd rather clean up yorkie pee than to have that slobber all over. |
Has anyone noticed that the breeds we don't care for are usually the ones we have had a bad experience with? |

P.S Daisy is gorgeous! Shih tzu's are one of my all time favourite breeds. :) |

That AND.....I love all breeds, but will stick with my yorkies and yorkie mixes...I much prefer cleaning up tootsie rolls over cow pies. |

It was not a compliment, it is the truth. Daisy fits breed standard very well! Is her coat hard to maintain? |

Finally found some pics of George's hair...not the best pics of him, but they definitely show all of his beautiful hair. Attachment 304736 Attachment 304737 |
He should be in Pantene adds. Except his hair isn't photoshopped ;) You must be so proud of him and youself for taking such good care of his coat :) |

OMG what an amazing beautiful coat George has. I can see why you feel he got yours! However, George can show his off but Jane, you probably would have just stuck it up in a bun and hid it anyway.;) |

In the second picture, he doen't look real he's so beautiful. |

I adopted him a little over four years ago...had no idea he would end up looking like that. He had short hair and terrible allergies. He is about 12 years old and I have been toying with getting his hair cut. It really is a lot of work. Does not mat and he does not mind being brushed, but it is still a job. |

Oh NO, after living with the finest hair on earth all of these years that is limper than a dishrag, I would be showing that stuff off! :D |

Thanks! A friend of mine said he looks like a bed doll in that pic. I think he reminds me of one of those beauty queens that sit on the back of a convertible with their skirts out all around them. Uh...am I showing my age...do they still do that? |
This has turned to be a nice thread after all.:) |
