I am having a horrible day (not YT related), and the OP's first post just struck me the wrong way. This is no excuse - I know I over-reacted and for that, I apologize. I still think shih tzu's are a terrific breed though. Now, I'm going to try to keep my mouth shut the rest of the day! :p |

why is the long hair creepy? and what do you mean pegeant gear? i don't think i have seen those? do you mean like formal dresses/holiday dresses for dogs? i prefer puppy cut for my baby just because it's easier for me, and i also like the way it looks, but i don't think long hair on yorkies is creepy, that's what yorkies are supposed to look like! and i think they are adorable and so pretty with their long hair. :animal-pa |
Alright...that...was a bit much. :( I realize why you feel the need to defend your intentions in starting the thread, which I truly believe were all in fun and not meant to offend....but dang.... She said she was having a bad day and apologized for over-reacting.... |
And, I was writing as that was posted! So, if I say I'm having a bad day, that is a life-jacket for being rude? No. I started this just as an innocent post, and people misconstrued the intent beyond what it should have been  I am not the one who began to bicker  ;) Lighten up! Sheesh :) |

And, as I stated, (once again, for good measure), I was typing at the time! So, there we have it. I never meant for this to be inflammatory. Sure, I'm sorry she's having a bad day, but it's not my fault, I didn't know, nor should I be maligned because of it. So, there you go ;) Mystery solved :) |

I really was feeling badly for all the comments I made here so I came back to try to make amends. Then I see this and now I feel so much better. Thank you! :D |
I'm a dog and animal lover! In fact, I'm always telling my friends that I love dogs more then alot of people! :D I don't really dislike certain breeds, it would really be the personality of any given dog that I might not like. Having said that, obviously I'm partial to certain breeds over others. I have a fondness for the cute breeds, like Yorkies, that when you see them it makes you want to squeal! lol! |
Okay :p...so, I had to delete one post. I do happen to know for a fact that Bonny is one of the sharpest tacks in a whole *bunch* sharp of sharp tacks :D. I think MissBehavin' is just kidding around, but if not, you BEHAVE MissBehavin' :D! |

I'm embarrassed by my behavior on this thread. You know, and I think most others know, that this isn't like me - especially on such a trivial matter. What bothers me more than anything are the comments made to a much loved, long time member on another of this OP's threads. It seems today is "one of those days". It started out bad and has just gotten worse. |

I love all dogs, might favor some (like Yorkies:p) over others but I think Shih Tzus are adorable w/their ewok faces. They also 'talk' alot, bounce around, has the most expressive faces...darn cute, what's not to like? |

There is a member here, who felt she needed the last word to insult me (when I had done *nothing* to warrant such a rude personal attack), and I sent her a strongly-worded PM (which she probably won't read, but whatever ). I mentioned in a post (forget which now) that Miss Behavin was the name of one of my favorite geldings when I was living in Argentina (moved from Europe to Buenos Aires, Argentina, where polo is insanely popular. Wellington, where my parent's currently live, is the winter polo capitol of the world - polo ponies are shipped from dozens of countries to be there now), and that is why I chose this as my screen name. NOT b/c I intended on causing trouble. I thought my posts were benign, until things became construed in the manner other than what I meant. And, if someone is going to pick an argument w/me, I am like a Yorkie, I will NOT EVER back down ;) So, can we PLEASE just leave this at that? |

There is no breed of dog that I really dislike, only breeds some of which I like more than others. Shih Tzus, Lhasa Apsos, Maltese and Yorkies have long been my favorites, any breed with long, flowing hair steals my heart. |

This is stupid, but I am going to say it anyway. I am not sure what they are, I just know they are two big dogs. My NEIGHBORS dogs, they bark at everything and anything and all day. It really is not my neighbors dog it the daughters has she ever heard of doggie day care. I told you it was stupid other then that I have not seen a dog I do not like.LOL |

I forgot to add that Shih Tzus have a spunky personality. My Shih Tzu's spunky personality makes me laugh. It takes Shih Tzus longer to learn, because they can be obstinate. With positive, consistent, and patient training, Shi Tzus can learn a lot of tricks and commands. My Shih Tzu will learn anything for a treat. She gets excited when it is time to learn a new trick. Some Shih Tzus have behavioral problems, because their owner is not leader of the pack. When an owner is not leader of the pack, Shih Tzus can become snappish when surprised or peeved. :) |

I was offended at the first post (and I don't even own a shihtzu), but the good of the others here on YT kept it fairly lighthearted for a while at least. If I don't like a certain kind of dog I'm gonna keep it to myself b/c this is a forum for DOG LOVERS. Personally, I took the first post to be along the lines of "what kind of nationalities of people do you not like?" |
I love all animals< large and small> |
