Thanks . Yes, my boys love them - their fave spot is their neck and upper shoulder area and front of chest, oh and ear massages too! The ear massages can relax the whole body. But the upper/lower neck - seems to put them in the zone .

Not yet ! I'd call him just right, he's just "solid" and sturdy for 3 lbs...hubby *loves* to call him "tubby", but only bc he knows I always follow up with "he's not TUBBY, it's just his winter skin!" -- whatever "winter skin" is ...?

LOL ! See, it is a real thing! I think winter skin must be that weird thing that just "appears" between Thanksgiving and New Years. SO WEIRD.

yea, growing it is super FUN!!!!
taking it off is..... not as fun.

that's why i think i might still have my winter coat from the previous year underneath my current winter coat. no wonder i am so warm this winter!

Sending "get well" wishes to Ambrey today. Please let us know how she is feeling after surgery. This brings back memories of the day we took Daisy in for her spay six years ago. I was a nervous wreck until I had my baby in my arms again.

Thanks for all the well wishes . Just a really quick update.

We just got Ambrey home from her spay...she did great, but is shaky and walking gingerly (ie, tail tucked) and has this sad look on her face (I feel so bad for her! ).

Thank gosh I told my husband he *had* to come w/ me to pick her up - I sat in the back seat w/ her in my lap - she shook almost the whole way home. Vet told us to have her eat and drink a little when we got home - she wouldn't do either.

I think she just needs to sleep right now. I cuddled my night t-shirt around her neck so my smell is right there and she is curled up on her new, super-cushy bed....so I guess I'll just watch her, let her sleep and try to feed her in a little bit. I have pain meds for 3 days.

I know she will be fine !

Glad all went well.

Poor baby.....give her kisses from me. You'll probably need pain meds for about 24 hours.......I'm sure they gave her a pain shot before she came home.

I know...I feel so bad for her ! They gave her pain meds, and then said give her a pain med when I go to bed and/or earlier if she is hurting - and then 2x day for next 3 days, if needed. Poor lil punkin butter. Need to go check on her, she is w/ hubby in other room (bc I don't want her up on couch w/ me for fear she'll jump down)...so I better go look in on her...not that I don't trust hubs .

Happy to hear she came thru ok, the worst is over. Now she can be pampered a bit as she heals and returns to her sweet life.
