. Just a really quick update.
We just got Ambrey home from her spay...she did great, but is shaky and walking gingerly (ie, tail tucked) and has this sad look on her face (I feel so bad for her!
).
Thank gosh I told my husband he *had* to come w/ me to pick her up - I sat in the back seat w/ her in my lap - she shook almost the whole way home. Vet told us to have her eat and drink a little when we got home - she wouldn't do either.
I think she just needs to sleep right now. I cuddled my night t-shirt around her neck so my smell is right there and she is curled up on her new, super-cushy bed....so I guess I'll just watch her, let her sleep and try to feed her in a little bit. I have pain meds for 3 days.
I know she will be fine
