|  Just wanted to give everyone an update. My husband went to court yesterday. The guy that hit him pled guilty to the DUI but he is now fighting a 5 year prision sentence. Which I think he should get, because I keep thinking if we were all in the car how badly we all could have gotten hurt and the fact that this was either his 2nd or 3rd offense. I think they should throw the book at him. What do you guys think. I'm I too close to this. Or would you guys feel the same way?

| I think he deserves every bit of that 5 year sentence if not more...I think that people that drink and drive deserve every bit of the punishment that they get....When you drink and drive it is the other person that usually gets hurt and not the drunk!

| Oh, I think drunk drivers should have the book thrown at them. We live in an age where everyone has been educated about drunk driving, therefore, anyone out there drunk should not be shown any leniency whatsoever. Those with multiple DUI's should have those breathalyzer machines put in their cars so that they won't start if they blow over the limit. Tough, huh?
