Hey, the Mayans had to make the calendar end SOMETIME. It just happened to be 2012. That does not mean they place any significance on the date.

Having said that, the world could end anytime. Our sun isn't due to explode for over a billion years, I think. But we could get hit by a giant meteorite that would plunge us into a nuclear winter scenario, kill off all plants, and then all animal life. Or at least humans.

It could happen any day. But probably not tomorrow, because I have a big presentation to give at work.

I think it a big scheme cooked up by the credit card companies to get us to max out our credit cards!

But really...I don't like to borrow trouble so I just keep on keeping on....
