Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Hmmmm...do you have a price range you could throw out like, under $25, or $25-50, or $50-75, $75-100, or $100+....bc that would really help...otherwise...I don't even know where to start, really....

| I'm not a nurse, but I do have some ideas for you.. Maybe a Stethoscope. Like a Littman one, those are expensive high quality and a BP cuff, both in her favorite color. You can't go wrong with giving a Littman scope. Or a gift card to a really good scrub store.. A gift card to a day spa Or like a charm braceltt with all "nurse" type charms.. Hmm thats all I have for now, if I think of more I will let you know!! http://www.nursesdirect.com/nurse/ That is a good website to look at and get some ideas!!

| Thank you! No, I do not have a price range - just wanted to get her something "special". She is a very unique person - my son is deployed often, she handles home, kids, work and nursing school. I just wanted to get something to let her know how SPECIAL I think she is!! I will be flying to SC to attend her pinning and have NO idea what she would like, so..... THANKS FOR YOUR REPLIES!! And your IDEAS!

| When I graduated my sister gave me a cardiac stethascope that is awesome. She had it engraved with my name. She also purchased my RN pin. (when you graduate it is a pinning instead of a traditional graduation) Also a charm necklace or bracelet is great. I have a catalog at home that has a bunch of neat things for a nursing graduation.

| If she doesn't have one already, a Littman stethoscope or a gift certificate for new scrubs/uniform store. Does she have a job lined up yet? There are different stethoscopes... One size for adults, one for peds, one especially for cardiac nurses etc. Nursing shoes can be pretty expensive, for example Dansko shoes are over $100. Maybe a GC for a store that sells them? I would have appreciated any of these things when I graduated from nursing school.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Okay...let's see: *A Littman if she doesn't already have one *Does she like jewelry? If yes, do you trust yourself to know her style? If yes, why not memorialize the occasion w/ a really neat ring that also has an engraving on the inside...something do w/ her new journey as a nurse? A ring w/ her husband's fingerprints imprinted on the outside (have you seen those?) since he is away a lot. *A guided meditation CD to help her relax at the end of the day (love these!) *A small diamond pendant? Or a pearl maybe? *A gift certificate to her favvvvvorite clothing store so she can go have a girl's day *A gift cert. to her and hubby's favorite dinner place, and then you babysit so they can have a romantic night out...maybe tie the cert. to a bottle of chilled champagne Well...that's all I got for now...

| The best stethoscope, BP Cuff, shoes, etc. that's out there! It's been many years since our daughter-in-law was pinned and she is the most compassionate, caring nurse we have ever seen. She deserves the best and we see that she has it!! BTW, congratulations, I know you are very proud of her.

| Hi! Congrads to your daughter in law. As a nurse I would say get her the Littman stethascope. And have her name engraved on it. She will appriciate it so much. I would not do the BP cuff because many places you go have them, but the stethascope she will alway use. Also, a gift certificate for scrubs is good. Of course I like the idea of the gift certificate to the day spa. She might really appriciate that since it sounds like she might need a little relaxation. Theresa |

| You could really have some fun with this one. Buy a "toy" nurse's set and then either replace the toys inside with the real thing and/or attach a gift card/cash to the items that perhaps she would want to select for herself. You could even include a gift card for a foot massage, a facial, etc. Wrap the toy nurse's set with the real stuff inside with an inexpensive nurse's uniform. |

| When I graduated and got my RN license my mom gave me a guardian angel pendant. I loved it. I still wear it today. Perfect momento. |
