Oh yeah, its been scabbed over and it now healed. I got this while I was still in Hawaii ( a month ago ) after my surgery ( I know , I'm crazy! )...but after I saw this guys portfolio, I just HAD to have him do some work for me!

It really came out great! The colors are nice and bright!

Here's one of mine, this was my first one, what a way to get started huh? It hurt so bad on the shoulder blades. I'm hoping in the future I can get sleeves too. I want cherry blossom branches. But next one I get will probably be a small one, maybe Uni's pawprint?

I have an Irish claddagh ankle braclet on one ankle and a four leaf clover on the other ankle. I have been wanting to get another one but I haven't settled on a design. I am thinking about getting one on the top of my foot.

I love that! It's so unique! Yeah my shoulder blades hurt like a mofo too! It's like all the nerves were bundled on my shoulder blades and I would almost twitch when he was working on them. I was thinking about a cherry blossom tree too, they are so beautiful here in Japan and the festival here for them is amazing. I also like koi, and the new trend I see that is really awesome is the cartoon swallows on the collar bone, thats hot LoL I just have to find the right idea for my quarter sleeve.. I dont want to be looking to cover up work a year after I get it yah know?

You know what sucked for me when I did it... I had just watched a documentary of a tribe somewhere in Africa the week before. Well they worship the crocodile (or alligator, not sure which one). The rite of passage for young men there is to sit in a freezing pond all night, then the next day one of the head guys uses a piece of sharp rock and cuts into them in the design of the crocodile bumps all over their body. So when they heal they have croc bumps on them. That was ALL I could think about while I was getting tattooed! Made it hurt all the more.
