| This is so heartbreaking and makes me so mad at the same time. I saw this on craigslist and it just breaks my heart, that poor dog. Please Help? I need help. I am 61 yrs & have a 17 yr s**tz-poodle mix who needs to go to heaven to be with her brother & sister. I am on a fixed income & can't afford to put her to sleep. She is still some what active but has very lg fleshy tumors all around her head & neck. I love her & really don't want to lose her but I don't want her to live like this. Does anyone know if there is an inexpensive place that I can go to put her to sleep. I really appreciate any help I can get, I was quoted a price of $80. but it would be more if I have to bury her which I can't do. Thank you for reading this. God Bless You! |

| It is soooo sad that the owner wants to do the right thing and can't afford to. If this baby is in pain and has no good quality of life left, then PTS is the most humane thing to do. Its very sad

| It is sad. But sometimes one has to wonder if the person has done this before and is just trying to get money. Don't they have friends, or family, or credit card. My vet does not charge to PTS. |

| very sad but I would have to agree. I would think that a vet would be compassionate and not charge. Very sad if this is true.

| Oh my. I hope this isn't the real story. I can't believe that a vet would be so cold. I would take her to the humane society and see if they could work something out.

| I can't help but wonder if this is a scam but if it's not then I truly feel bad for the man and his dog. There has to be a shelter or a rescue or vet in his area that would be willing to do this for him. My vet does charge, however, the SPCA here is free. They do ask that you make a donation if you are able to. |
