I used to only use Dyson, and always thought I would never change, Then I did, to a HENRY (Don't know if you have them in the USA)

I love it, Teddy isn't so keen. That said I am sure there are better, and when I update it, I will look at Kirby and the better end of the market.

In addition to Daisy, I also have 3 cats. Pet hair is a huge, HUGE issue in my home. I have had the same Rainbow for over 10 years. Occasionally I get tired of hauling it up and down the stairs and buy a new one.....I have managed to kill more vacuums (including a Dyson) than I can even count! Anything with filter bags is going to be a heavy expense for me, so I highly recommend the Rainbow.

I too have a Dyson and I Love it. I also considered a Halo. I had seen it on the Today show or something like that. They were giving a demonstration outside in times square. I think that's the place. Anywho It has an ultra violet light on the bottom to kill allergens and dust mites in the carpet. I really wanted it more than my Dyson but couldn't find one till after I bought my Dyson. But I'm happy with my Dyson. If it ever gives out I'll buy the Halo. It's perfect for allergy sufferers.

I have a rainbow and love it. I just hate that dust flying around. I admit it is a little cumbersome if you want to do a quick vacuum for company or somethin but it is amazing the dust and dirt it picks up!
