| ![]() I have Miele gemini. It takes everything off the floor (even the smallest crumbs!!). It has Hepa filter and with bag. I absolutely loves it and it comes with 10 years waranty. It's also the most quite vacuum I've known up to the point where I can have conversation with normal voice or listening to Tv while vacuuming. |

Living My Yorkie Dream Donating Member | ![]() ![]() ![]() I know members of my family have or have had Kirbys for years & they love them. Their only complaint was that they were so heavy. Do they make them more lightweight now-a-days? If not, I'd go with a Dyson for sure.

| ![]() I have an Electrolux Oxygen 3 Ultra and absolutely love it. It's great for people with allergies, and stairs...not heavy. It has great attachments and is very quiet. This one has an extender wand for those hard to reach places.

| ![]() I have a Rainbow, and I absoluely love it! Not only is it good for floors, it is a great dusting tool as well. The dust doesn't fly around the room; it just goes right into the water and then you flush it down the toilet. Great for anyone with allergies or anyone who just doesn't want to breathe in all that dust.

| ![]() I have the Dyson animal and am not crazy about it. It cleans great but I really dislike the way the hose comes off. I like to use the hose as I go into all the baseboards, chairs and behind the sofas but it really a pain with the dyson. I also HATE where the on/off switch is, I am also hitting it! We have the ball version at work and I do like the maneuvability (sp) of it but still dislike the hose thingy. I had the cansister Fanthom which I totally LOVED! but it finally died and they stopped making the canister version. ![]()

| ![]() I had the Kirby people come in and do a demonstration last year. They showed me the difference in the suction power of my mom's Rainbow, and my Electrolux. WOW, I could not believe all of the crap that thing sucked up after vacuuming with both the Rainbow and the Eletrolux. They are expensive, but very much worth the price. I got a used one which saved me a lot of money. Also, I have terrible allergies and they have greatly improved since I got the Kirby. |
