| Darlene -- so sorry to read of your family's loss. So very sad to lose a pet under any circumstance but when it could have been avoided by an owner keeping their dangerous dog under control, it is even more frustrating. My heart goes out to you, your daughter, and granddaughter. RIP Lizzie!

| Thank You ALL for your loving thoughts and prayers. Sorry I was not on yesterday, but my granddaughter came home yesterday to be told of her baby. She is 14, and now she is just devastated. She didn't go to school today. She keeps saying she doesn't want to live in her house anymore. My heart just breaks for both my daughter, and granddaughter. Thank you all again. You can always depend on the good people of Yorkie Talk. Darlene

| I am terribly sorry for the loss of your daughter and granddaughter's beloved pet. That's a horrific story. My heart breaks for your young granddaughter and what she is going threw. I remember the pain of losing a pet at that age, and it was a doxie also. Hugs to all of you, |

| Thank You all. My granddaughter is going to school tomorrow, and I am hoping she makes it all the way through. It's so hard for both my daughter and granddaughter as that was their only pet/family member. Even my daughter stayed home today from work today. Both are going to try it tomorrow. Thanks for all your prayers. You cannot have too many prayers. Darlene

| How awful I'm so sorry! Big hugs to your family. I hope that that Rottie is better controlled now that the owners are aware of it's viciousness

| Omg that's sooooo sad I hope he is getting better ! but there should be a law and if you own a BIG dog and it attack someone are someone small dog the owner of the big dog should be fined and have to pay all doctor bill's and pain and suffering ! All throw that do fix what the big dog did but if there was a law it might slow down on some of the attacks that's been happen and if the dog attacks two times it should gets put down and the owner has to pay a fine of ten thousand dollars

| My daughter's dog, Lizzie didn't make it. She died in my daughter's arms on the way to the E.R. Hospital. Poor girl didn't stand a chance. I wish there were better laws too. I told my daughter to do whatever it takes, because we all know Lizzie did not die in vain. She was very much loved, and needed.

| same situation well sorta my baby boy harley was 8 months and he was mauled by a syberian huskey harley opened the back door and went over to the dog that was chained up the dog too him and threw him around a couple times.. the owner came over and told us to check on our dog bc her dog was" playing with him' we didnt even know he got out. when we went to the fence he was there he climb 6 stair back inside he had a giant whole in his back and also kicked his main attery in his leg my brother had his finger on it the whole way to find a vet.. he kept passing out we had a hard time finding a vet that was open bc it was the fourth of july . we drove an hour to the next city where an emergency place was .. they stoped counting all his stiches and staples .. he has so many we called him franking pup right after his surgury still groggy they sent me home with him and said if he makes it 24 hours he will have a good chance to live.. i was so scared i stayed up with him all night that night with him .. and he kept having flash backs where he would scream and jump and hurt himself.... they never came to check on him at all never asked to pay the bills nothing everytime we went out in the yard they would run inside. they moved out 3 weeks after my baby was very lucky to live now he is going to be 4 and is healthy but if u feel his back the skin is so tight still bc they had to pull the skin from his sides to cover it sry for ur loss harley and amber |
