UGHHH I have a confession!! LOL. My dad is a "garbage picker" hahaha. We live near some hoity-toity neighborhoods, and people throw away REALLY GOOD stuff. LOL. If something is out on the curb (obviously to be thrown away, he wouldn't take it if it were just sitting there), he's been known to pick up a thing or two.

it embarrasses the CRAP out of me!! haha. ESPECIALLY because he'll knock on the door and be like "Hi. Are you throwing this fine piece of ____ away?" He's not allowed to do it when I'm in the car.

I make fun of him CONSTANTLY for it.

But to RETURN IT!? that's HYSTERICAL. wow. hahaha

That's hysterical.

You never know what you might find.
I found a sm round table down at my sister's, in NJ, at the curb for the garbage.
I really like it so I picked it up, or I made her get out of the car
and pick it up and put in the car. I brought it back to NY and
polished it up. The legs actually match my tables in the LR.
I love it. When I showed my daughter she asked what trash
can I find that in

So one's man's garbage can be another mans treasure.
It's all in the eye of the beholder.
