I believe that if somebody calls somebody a racist, then he or she needs some facts to back that statement up.

I think we should not talk about Kanye making racist remarks anymore, because I do not think it is staying on the topic of this thread. JMO

It is not directly the topic of the thread, I was just asking people to look at it from a different perspective but just as you are able to have your "JMO " so am I. And if you would do just a small amount of research you would see that he has stated whites should only be allowed to use slang words after blacks have used them for a year, that he stated in an Essence Magazine interview that if a black person mixed with a white person that he and his buddies referred to them as "mutts" (totally inappropriate: some of the most talented people in Hollywood are bi-racial EX: Halle Berry) and have you forgotten about Katrina when he said that George Bush did not care about blacks that when they were getting food it was considered looting but when whites did it, it was considered only looking for food yet I ask how many whites sent money for EVERYONE OF EVERY RACE to be taken care of after Katrina. but again this is JMO

I have never said you did not have a right to your opinion. I just stated my opinion that you did start a discussion about race. You prove my point by what you said above in your post. I refuse to make the Kanye incident a White or Black issue. I asked for facts to prove Kanye is a racist, because I do not like to defame somebody's character. I have never read that article in Essence magazine. If I ever come across this article, then I might read it. I am not going to waste my time researching Kanye, because I do not believe he is racist. Totally agree with you How the he$$ did this get way off topic. I would be very careful about accusing someone of being a racist, good lord .. You just don't go around saying those things. I hope this thread is closed...
