| Oh boy thats a tough one Well I have always loved all dogs.. but I really love Jack Russells or my newest addition who is.. 1/2 mini poodle 1/4 westie and 1/4 cocker spaniel. I love her and she is so sweet. But im not sure I would like any of those breeds by itself.. http://c3.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/i...c51a85d262.jpgBella(:

| Wow, what a big difference of second favorites! Thanks for posting, everyone. I will be moving out in a year most likely and I am already looking into different dog breeds, etc because I plan on getting a 2nd dog when I move out. I loveee and miss owning a larger dog, such as the Golden, but then I realize how used to being around small dogs I am. They're just so easy to transport, bathe, feed, etc. I don't miss all the shedding hair either! Ahh! Anyone ever owned or been around a French Bulldog? They seem like really sweet little companion dogs.

| I will always want a Shih Tzu and a Yorkie in my life. They are both amazing in their own ways and provide a perfect balance for each other. |

YT 500 Club Member | For me it would be a Shih Tzu and Maltese so I have two seconds lol. Both are very sweet gentle breeds and I can't wait to own one or both. I hope they are as sweet as my Poppy.

| I have so many favorites it's hard to choose. I think as far as a favorite...it would be a Lab. But I also want a Chihuahua so bad I can't hardly stand it..and a Maltese, French Bulldog, German Shepard and so many others.

| Miniature schnauzers have my heart. My first dog ever was a schnauzer, and in the future when we can have a second dog, I plan on getting schanuzer. I have already told my husband when my kids are gown, I am going to breed and show schnauzers (or at the very least have like 5 or 6 of them around my home). To be honest (and I hope I don't get banned from YT for this), I was originally looking for a schanuzer when I came across my little Sebasitan, and I knew he was meant for me and my family, but still want a Schanuzer in the future. |

The 3 Musketeers Donating Member | Let's see, I have an English Cocker Spaniel and she's 13 years old, a Yorkie who is 2 1/2 years old, and now my friends gave me an 8 week old Maltese. Do I have to chose? I love all three of my babies so it would be hard to choose. Each has endearing qualities, the cocker cuddles up to me at night and she also alerts me to when someone is here. The Yorkie follows the cocker when someone is here and she cuddles next to me on the couch. I haven't had the Maltese long enough to form a decision other than she's cute and very lively and when she harasses the other two, they just give her a kiss.

| I had a female maltese for about 10 years. My son gave her to me as a gift for Christmas. She was a year old when I got her. She was the complete opposite of Pepper my Yorkie. She didn't want to cuddle, you could take her outside and she would just stay right around the house, never tried to wander off. Pepper on the other hand, always wants cuddles, and I don't dare take him out without his leash. I lost Precious 6 months before my mom passed. It took me two years to finally get another dog. I should have never waited. Pepper has been my lifesaver. Well, I guess I am saying (the long way around), is that I would get another Maltese if I couldn't have a Yorkie. Precious.........

| A yorkie will always be first in my heart but the Japanese Chin and Shih Tzu are second for me. If you ever held a Japanese Chin in your arms, you would just melt but nice ones are hard to find. Love the Cavalier King Charles but their heart problems are many and I am not ready for more heart break. You can find some breeders that test though. They are the largest of the toy breeds and the softest most wonderful temperament. They can be barkers though and that wouldn't work for me now. If you want to know which one I think is the cutest puppy ever(yes cuter than a yorkie how could that be possible) JMO a english bulldog puppy.

| My favorite is a tie between cocker spaniels and yorkies. I absolutely adore cockers, and only discovered how much I liked yorkies when my sister got one 2 years ago. They are both my favorites, but I really like how yorkies don't shed. |
