People that refuse to use the "search" function on these types of sites before they post a new thread

I realize I'm relatively new to this site, and likely guilty myself to a certain extent. I also chat on a travel site where this occurs with some frequency....

But to the point on this site, how many more "my dog has XYZ - HELP HELP HELP" posts are needed? Seriously? Use the search function. Read. Research. Then if you have questions, ask. I've done that on countless issues in the last year. I still sometimes post a question to double back on something or gain clarity. However I've also found a lot of useful information that I could put into practice and never had the need to add redundant threads.

Sorry, venting. Bad day all around.

People who chew their fingernails. Talking to someone who appears to be eating their fingertips. It it so hard for me to even concentrate on what I'm saying to them because I want to tell them if they're hungry I have some candy in my purse. Come on people, NASTY!

Exchanging gifts with distant relatives just to be polite. I hate spending money on something I know they probably won't like, and knowing that they have spent money on something I probably won't like. Why not just give the money to charity, where it might do some good?

Drivers who don't pay attention while driving (too busy on the cell phone most of the time!)

People taking advantage of the kindness of other's for their own personal
gain.

People not taking the time to say, Thank you.

People always putting themselves first when other's need help.

One of the bigest one for me... I have a friend that comes by to see me every once in awhile. The whole time he's here, he never stops talking. I even excusing myself for a few minutes, hoping he'll forget but he just starts up where he left off. It could be 20 minutes later... This drives me right up the wall. LOL

The toilet paper is most public bathrooms - you know the kind where you pull just one little piece off at a time because it keeps ripping. It's so annoying. lol

Spelling a name differently doesn't annoy me as long as it at least looks normal. Some are just off the wall (like the Isabella one you mentioned)! When it's like that it just seems like their parents were trying too hard to be different. Other times I like it - I was given a common name and I WISHED my mother had at least spelled it different.

I don't like it when they spell or pronounce it different and get offended if someone else says or spells it the "normal" way. If you wanted to name your kid Savannah but spell it Savanna then expect wrong spelling and not to be able to find your childs name on things pre-printed with that name spelled YOUR way.

LOVE Australia....been 3 times!

I bet you hate my name!!! lol its Hollee not the traditional Holly. It is annoying because I always have to spell it for people, but I like it other than that.

Lol well my mother works in a school so it's a huge pet peeve she's passed down.
Like you mentioned, she gets snotty parents who are basically 'how DARE you spell my baby's name with an i instead of a y.

I actually like the spelling "Jayme" for Jamie. I "had" a stray cat that I took care of for a couple months and that was his name.

What drives me absolutely crazy is when it doesn't even look like the same name. For example:

Megan. Or Meghan. Both normal.

The craziest one I have EVER seen is this:
