| My pet peeve lately is how complete strangers are so interested in how far along I am, if its a boy/girl, how much I have gained, what the name is going to be, and if my feet are swollen. I really am tired of answering questions. The same questions. All the time. I'm glad nobody has tried to touch my belly yet. That happened my last pregnancy.

Then I got done paying, put my receipt in my purse and of course she hit me with her cart! I turned around and yelled excuse me! I am sure she thought I was the rude one! Ugg!

| Okay, today random people have been pushing my pet peeve buttons all day. Here are just a few things that people have done to irritate me today. 1. Micro managing. 2. Guys that wear their pants to their knees and the waist band around the middle part of their butt. I always have the urge to either pants them or give them a really bad wedgie. 3. Being hit on by random men. I was in the gas station today and some guy walked past and said "Wuzzup shawty?!" Even if I was single, that is not the way to get me to be interested.

| I can't handle stupidity. I can't handle people with no common sense. People who wear sandals or flip flops and have ashy feet( don't put foot lotion or just regular lotion) People who wear sandals/flip flops and have fungus on their toes. Tacky people people who leave their purses on the bathroom floor. ewwww!! People who park right in front of my house when they are visiting the neighbors. why don't they park in front of the neighbor's house!! or driveway? People who think i don't speak English.

| This thread is so funny! Here are a few of mine: 1. When people start telling you something and then suddenly remember they shouldn't be saying anything and say, 'Oh, forget it', or 'It doesn't matter' I can't forget it now you've started - TELL ME!! (I have a friend who always does this) 2. People who ask if both my skin kids are mine, or if they have the same dad because one is very fair and blue-eyed and the other is darker-skinned with brown eyes....I always want to yell: 'Not that it's any of your business, but YES 3. When people say, 'I ain't done nothing' ......so you have done something then? 4. People who finish every sentence with, 'D'you know what I mean?' 5. People who insist on telling you how much they paid for everything. 6. When my husband drinks out of the milk/juice carton (or worse - finishes it and puts the empty carton back in th fridge (I fear that one day I might snap and kill him) 7. My husband moaning if he has no clean socks/boxers /t-shirts, even though the dirty ones are in a pile where he left them.....an inch away from the laundry basket (I'm sure he thinks the housework fairies come and do everything) 8. Putting a meal in front of my daughter that she has happily eaten a thousand times in the past but today she, 'doesn't like it'. 9. When friends/family members say I don't have a 'proper job' even though I'm earning decent money writing children's books, not to mention looking after two kids, three dogs, a husband and a house!!!!!!! 10. The fact that I have so many pet peeves! Phew, it feels so good to get all that off my chest! xxx

| One habit of others that is truly annoying is the way some chew gum...snapping, cracking, with mouth open, jaw sloshing from side to side as the gum moves from one part of the mouth to another. It is totally gross to watch and hear. It just grates on my nerves. Thanks, the venting helped until I see another person chewing that way.

| 1. People who leave a toilet seat in the "up" position. 2. Rude people 3. Telephone solicitors 4. People who leave their shopping baskets in the middle of aisle. 5. People who call me and then put me on hold so they can answer another call, grrrrr! 6. bad customer service. 7. Rushing to make an appointment on time, get there risking your life in busy rush hour traffic, only to have to sit in the waiting room for 15 min or longer.

| Way too many to list, but I will start with "all of the above". Sure there might be a couple that don't drive me insane, but not many. I have to add to it *People that have so many pet peeves that there is basically nothing you can do that WON'T irritate them. Which basically makes me a hypocrite. I think we Americans (and some of us non ) kinda get on a pedestal a little and let everything bother us about everyone else. I mean, if it really bothers us when someone thinks they are better than us or right about everything, wouldn't that be a little prideful too? I go back and forth with myself all the time about it, and since I am always right, it's really hard to find a winner in that one. I think I would be a much happier person if everyone didn't piss me off so much...of if I just didn't let them.

I remember when.......The only phone was attached to the kitchen wall. We even had to wait until we got home to call someone! (imagine that). And we even didn't have a answer machine! OMG!
