| Wow...I just found this thread, and it fits me so well! I am from Mississippi...and as ANYONE in the US can tell you...Mississippi is last in all of the good things, and first in all of the bad. I hate the stereotypes that have been placed on this state, but I try to ignore them. I do wear shoes...EVEN IF I'M IN MY OWN HOUSE, I do not eat barbeque or fried stuff, I did not have a child outside of marriage...or as a teenager, I did go to college (although I am now taking a year break to decide what I want to major in), and graduated in the top 10% with high honors of my class of 400. Mississippi is really not as bad as everyone thinks. I do, however, have a southern accent that drives me crazy...lol! Last edited by acl1209; 06-08-2009 at 09:36 AM. |
