| What does everyone do for a living? Random question - just curious. What does everyone do for a living? I'm exploring my options right now and would just like some ideas and if people enjoy their careers, etc. Currently, I'm in my 2nd year at comm. college. I design websites on the side, along with dog-sitting. This summer, I will be working the front desk at a local pool. I'm interested in working with dogs, but my only issue with that is the money... I'd like to make a decent living and I've considered wanting to be a trainer but the demand would have to be high in need for dog trainers and I'm not so sure where to even begin. College/school is rough for me... I really just get by. Although, I managed to get an A in my Intro to Psych class. I'm very interested in Psychology but am unsure if job opportunities are there for simply a BA in Pysch, as I really don't want to continue on to get my masters. I think I SHOULD have my BA degree but I'm struggling with the concept of 3 or more years of school (considering I'm slow and already 2 credits behind... lol) I keep going back and forth between the medical field as well and possibly getting a two year degree in X-ray technician or a Radiation therapist or tech. But anyways... what does everyone do for a living? Do you have your degree?

| Dog groomer-love it! I was an xray tech for many many years and decided I needed a change. Never looked back. Found a great groomer who offered apprenticeship and the rest if history!

| I got a BS in Elementary Ed Minors in Math and Political Science. Masters in Instructional Leadership which is a principalship (or any administrative position) What am I doing now? UGH Gotta love this freakin' economy. I'm a substitute teacher b/c there are NO OPENINGS.... so yeah. So I do that, tutor here and there. Degrees don't always mean a job....

| I'm a full time college student and a sales associate @ Justice. I am majoring in pharmacy, so hopefully one day I can come on here and say I'm a Pharmacist. Just the thought of it makes me smile.

| Well I'm not there yet but I'm doing my pre-req's for the Nursing program. If I don't end up in nursing, I know I'll be doing something in the medical field. Oh and if you were interested in Psychology and wanting to be a therapist you have to have your MA. My psych teacher just explained everything about that on our last day. It's hard to go to school and sometimes it not for everyone but in the end it's worth it.

Also, I MAY have messaged you before but I don't remember, lol... where are you a groomer? I'd love to have a fellow YT member groom Jackson... I'm just not good at the grooming stuff. lol. However, training and dog psychology are definitely up my alley. I really think it'd be such a fulfilling career to have my own dog training facility one day with maybe some boarding or doggie day care or something. But, I really don't know where to begin. Yikes! Anyways, if you don't want to post your location in the public, could you PM me your place? I'd love to try it out if it's not too far.

| Hours were great, pay was excellent, and you can get a job just about anywhere in the country. The work can be stressful at times but I never regretted going into xray at all. I have to say that in this economy the medical field is a good way to go. No matter what the economy people still need medical care. Good luck if you decide to go that route.
