| I'm the assistant county librarian for our 2-county library system. I used to be a library director, but enjoy this job more. I have a wide variety of duties and don't have to deal with the public. LOL |

| During the week I am a full time domestic engineer. I also dabble in taxi services. I have at times been known as an excellent chef but my favorite job during the week is the head warden and emotional stabilizer for the younger members of my workforce. On the weekends I work as a server at Red Lobster.

| Personal Banker, pay decent, decent hours except that I work in an in store bank and we are open 7 days a week. I would transfer to a traditional branch, but I live 2 minutes away from work driving and 5 minutes walking. I'm also taking classes to become a vet tech. Drastic change? yes, but I'm a big animal lover. Chikis and Jerome's Vet knows I'm going to school, so he's told me that once I finish my degree to let him know so that I can join his staff. I think that is nice of him.

| I was a Veternary Assisstant for 3 years, But, burnt out when my son passed away. Had no real desire to do anythng! Then I became an Activities Director and started College working for my Recreational Therapist Degree. I never finished it because my first Daughter arrived from South Korea in 1986. Then in 1992 my second Daughter arrived from South Korea. In there I volunteered @ our local Animal Shelter for 3 years and also in 1987 I started volunteering with the Sertoma Club of Lancaster as the Co-Chairman of the Naturalization Day Committee and plan the Luncheon that follows the ceremony. It is held @ a local Elk's Club and soon we are moving to the New Convention Center in downtown Lancaster. We help people that are becoming New Citizens by greeting them @ the Courthouse and pinning a flower on them that will get them in the Courthouse on the day that they're sworn in. Then we host a Luncheon that features local Goverment Officials. The Mayor of Lancaster City, !- County Commissioner, 1- City Council member, The Judge that swore them in,The Representitive from Immigration and Naturalization Services comes up from Philadelphia for that day plus the Sertoma Club President, a Clergy Person{From different religions in the area}. The Luncheon is free to the American Citizen courtesy of the club. We have 5 Ceremonies a year and approx. 70 citizens done @ a time. I got involved when my oldest Daughter became a Citizen @ 14 months. My husbands Aunt started this tradition 63 years ago with another Civic Group and 27 years ago the Sertoma Club took over. We also have music provided by Sertoma Members that we call "The Sertoma Singers" who are all gentleman in their 60's-90's and are members of the club. The wife of one of the members plays my Portable organ/piano and they sing songs to entertain everyone during the Luncheon. At the end of the Luncheon we take a group photo and I send pics to those who forgot their cameras. It is a very fulfilling wonderful day and I get to share such a wonderful memory with peiple from all over the world. I have helped over 1700 people become American Citizens and have enjoyed every moment with them. Even after the day is done they will see me out @ stores and come up and thank me for what I did. I thank them for letting me be a tiny little part of their BIG DAY!! I have Volunteered my time doing this for the last 22 years!! So, Other than that I am supported both Physically and Emotionally by my Loving and Caring Husband of 30 years as of May 5th... ![]() ![]() Sorry this is so long...

| I have a daycare in my home. I have children from the ages of 8 wks to 2 yrs. old. I have degrees in Early Childhood Education and Child Psychology. I have been called a "Jane" of all trades, which means I have done so many things in my lifetime to try and find myself that I could do just about anything! I have been a hair stylist. I am also Certified as a Wedding/Events Planner and had my own company for 5 yrs. I also make and designed wedding cakes and I am a Master Floral designer too. I was also a pivate Duty Nurse while I was in College and have done that a few times through the years just to make ends meet. I was in Mortgage Lending for 10 yrs...and the list goes on! I guess what I am trying to get across to you is that you are young and have so much life ahead of you. Do what interests you, not what others want you to do. Invent yourself! Have fun and if you don't succeed at one thing don't beat yourself up and never give up on finding what makes you happy. At this point in my life, I want to do Dog Grooming! I just may get real serious about it once the economy calms down a little. I have a fabulous income with what I am doing now and I love, love, love, what I am doing and I can be home with Daisy Mae all day too. Hang in there and best of luck to you, ~Kathy
