| advice on planting bushes My landlord gave me permission to rip out the bushes in front and put in new ones. He hates those as much as I do. I want something pretty - not very plain. I was thinking like azelas or something. Any advice on what to look for. Also, it can't require a lot of light because there is a tree that blocks a lot of sun right on top of the area.

| I don't really know what that means - I'm in VA if that helps.

| I would check with a local nursery, describe your location and space and ask for some appropriate recommendations. I would opt for something that blooms all summer, if there is a bush like that that will fit the space and light requirements. But you may be more interested in pretty leaves or interesting foliage - either way, I'd for sure seek professional advice.

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | I would go to a couple of nursery's and tell them the light, height and space requirements you have to work with. Also the budget you are working with. They know what temps you deal with year round, and should be able to give you options to pick from.
