| Wow! That is horrible. I'm so sorry this happened to your grandson. Good to hear the kid that did it was taken in. Kids can be really mean and cruel.

| Hugs to you and your grandson. I am so sorry that happened to him. However, I AM glad that the school stepped in and did something. This is my daughter's (who is also 14) first year in high school and she was practically RAPED by a senior who cornered her in the green room in her drama class....the school didn't do anything except "talk" to him. They wouldn't even remove him from the class....oh wait, they FINALLY did AFTER he did the same thing to two other girls. I swear to you I am THIS close to just saying screw it and homeschooling them from now on. Schools are just too crazy these days.

| OMG you have every right to vent. I am glad your grandson was not injured but shook up I can imagine. Don't you want to go after that creep yourself? I would. I am so gald I'm not a kid today. If this country would get back to basic's there just might be more respect for institutions as well as authority and kids wouldn't be so brazen. I hope he's not afraid to return to school and has friends to watch his back, so to speak. Big hugs coming your way, |

| I'm sorry to hear this. This type of activity has been happening in schools world wide ever since there were schools. When I was in jr. high and high school from 1950 to 1958, there were daily fights inside and even outside, and if the victim ratted on these bullies, they got it even worse the next time. There were no surveillance camera's back then, so most of the rough necks got by with being the bullies. Maybe your son could learn some defensive techniques.

| So sorry this happened to your grandson. It's a scarey world out there for our children. It is the right of every child to feel SAFE in their school.

| I have a son in middle school also, in my line of work I always tell people to watch who their friends are that's where it starts. Thats where gang members star out in middle school, it depends where you live. Did you ever find out why he jumped him. Good for him sticking up for himself.

| Things are crazy at schools. When my sister was in middle school, a kid got stabbed and almost died, another kid robbed a local bike shop and killed the owner, and more. Mind you this was a good area where we lived but it stills finds its way.

| This sort of incident just makes me want to keep my kids home! School should be a safe place for learning. Not a place they fear for their lives!! I am so sorry for your Grandson. I hope he is okay and that this doesn't happen to him again. |

| Im so sorry that happened to your Grandson..The only advise I can say is FILE CHARGES....This is the only way to stop the madness. How dare someone bash your grandbabies head in....This makes me so mad because I was picked on when we moved to the states. I was called a spick, thrown in the boys room and beat up..Dont take it. STand up for him no matter what he says.....Blessings....Lissette |
