| ![]() Then it isn't Lymes Disease. I sure hope you get to the bottom of it, I can imagine how uncomfortable it must be.

| ![]() I have RLS since early in life as a child! I can remember my grandmother rubbing my legs to bring me relief! It's not an ache or pain.......it's just an extreme need to move your legs............there is no way you can just lay still and it will go away. And with me, it "always" happens at night and is brought on sometimes by chocolate, coffee, wine or being overly tired. After putting up with it for 50+ years, I finally asked my newly acquired doctor about it and she prescribed Clonazepam (1mg). It brought me a tremedous amount of relief..........sleep at last!!! My father had it, I have it, my daughter has it and her son has it........my other two children have never been bothered by it. But I have never had "pain" with the RLS.........just the constant need to move the legs. Hope that helps!

| ![]() I have RLS. It is hard to explain what it feels like, but you just want to keep moving your legs. Mine starts in my hips. tylenol helps, I also take amitrypteline (sp) it's a $4.00 prescription. Also if it won't go away I take an ice pack to bed and put my feet on it. |
