| I refuse to shop at Walmart but it because of equal rights issues. They are notorious for only paying men well, all of the females in the same positions always earn way less money for the same position and this has been an ongoing issue for several years. They are also helping to put out small local businesses out all of the time. There have been many community rejections of local walmart stores. This is the worst maga-store compared to others like target etc. I can't even go in there because the darn prices are too good for me to not buy this or that. I had to take my stance and decide to reject that enetrprise. I know some might think that is a bit harsh to feel that way, but I choose to give my money to local business instead, it feels better than saving 10 dollars and support inequality. |

| I do not shop at Wal-mart. I can barely stand 5 mins in that store. The people in my area are just trashy that all shop there. Its a mad house of rude, trashy people. I go to Target. Prices are similar enough and its just a nicer environment in my opinion. Try Target! You might like it better! I also got away from Walmart years ago when I realized that they used to sell edited dvds and CDs. I'd buy a CD or a movie and it would be a 'beeped' out version. Sooo annoying! So I just stopped going there. What happened to you is understandable for the store, but definately annoying for the customers. Its a tough line. On one hand theft rates may be high enough that taking the precautions like locking up certain products is worth losing a few peeved customers. It does stink though!

| Donating YT 1000 Club Member | Oh yes I shop at Target, the only time I go to Walmart is if I am directed there for a certain item. Our Target and Walmart are on opposit corners of eachother, it's just as close to go to one as the other. I made Target my store of choice years ago and have never felt like I missed a thing at Walmart especially since ours isn't a Super Walmart. I know this may be TMI but I do have to go to Walmart soon. Why? I need to buy a minimizer bra and our Target doesn't carry them. I have been putting it off for weeks, I hate going there. Now what I find interesting is everyone we know in CA shops at Walmart and not Target. So I have to go to Wally World at Christmas to buy gift cards for our CA family. I have been to their Walmart stores when visiting CA and I must say they are nicer and bigger than mine here.

| Our best buy used to make you stop at the door and show your recipt and everything in your bag before you left the store. It made me mad. I asked them if they wanted to frisk me once. Invest in some security personnel and stop treating paying customers like "suspects."

| Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | We live in upstate New York, and our local Walmart has cops there daily. They got rid of self check out...due to the amout of thefts. They had as much going out the back door as the front. They did away with Layaway. It's sad, because they're the cheapest priced retail store, but if this continues,we're ging to pay higher prices there.

Ours does that too, I always felt weird about it till I saw them do it to everyone. I then put it in that catagory of airport security, I have to suck it up and do it like everyone else no matter what. I had the alarm go off at our Walmart a long time ago as I was leaving. The cashier forgot to take a sensor off of an item I bought. I was so humiliated, everyone in the front of the store looked at me like a shop lifter. I let security know what I thought about the incident. On the other hand Walmart was kind to my brother and son when they drove long haul route semi, they would let them park the trucks and sleep in their parking lots if needed.

| No changes in our Wal-Mart, but who knows what will happen now that crime is on the rise.

| The Wal-mart in my area does this too. But they are not as serious about it. The video games, perfume, and jewelry are locked, but they will take it out of the case and let you take it where ever you are going. This is nice for the customer, but it makes no sense to lock it "for security purposes" if you are going to hand them out to anyone that walks up... |

| Our Walmart is not locking up the small stuff...yet. I think it is a sign of the times and looking at the economy it can only get worse. The other day my dad told me a story about buying razor blades in the drug store and waiting more than 20 minutes because they were locked up. He bought the blades and a card and spent $20. He was shocked. I agree with everyone about Target, we went there last week and my husband could not believe how clean and stocked the shelves were. I went to Walmart a few hours ago and the shelves were bare. I could not find my laundry detergent, they only had two brands, Tide and Gain. It looked like it does before one of our hurricanes.

I am EXACTLY the same way!! I won't shop at Walmart unless there is an item I need. When I worked at target years ago we called all the customers "guests". That in itself tells you something about the way you are treated. | |
