Loved the show tonight but I have a problem... Does anyone else think Paula Abdul was NOT singing?? It looked like she wasn't to me. Why the microphone on the stand and the ear piece thingy. They actually never got close enough to her face to tell, but it was too perfect. You could definatly tell that Daughtry was singing and No Doubt was singing. Just something strange about her performance. Although she did look terrific what was with the shirt and the boobs? Didn't like it at all. sorry jmo!! I think America got it right tonight.

I took a nap, and I missed American Idol today. I read on the internet that Allison went home tonight. I liked every singer in the top four, but I wished that Danny or Kris went home instead. Anyone who read my posts knows that Allison and Adam were my favorites. Well, all my votes are going to Adam next week regardless how he performs. I hope Adam wins. Go Adam! Oh, I am sad that I miss No Doubt's and Paula Abdul's performances. I am going to see if I can find their performance on You Tube. I am a fan of Guns and Roses. I agree that Slash should change his 80s attire. I guess he loved the 80s.

How do you guys vote 50 times for your favorite contestant on American Idol? I thought you could only vote once per phone number. I would love to vote for Adam 50 times next week.

They count every call that goes in and every texted vote. You can call til your fingers break off and they'll still count all of those votes until the 2 hrs is up. In the past, there were people cheating with computers with software set up to (re)dial in their votes repeatedly.

I just saw Paula Abdul's performance. I liked her performance. She was obviously lip singing, because she could not dance and do those tricks without lip singing. She did sound too perfect, but lip singing is now a part of the music industry. I wish people could sing live all the time, but I know it is not always possible with a strenuous routine. I think the microphone serves has a prop. Just like the microphone serve has a prop for the backup dancers in the Pussycat Dolls.

I was fairly surprised Allison got booted. I was sure it was gonna be her and Adam in the final. Good for Danny and Kris, though. I think this was the best final four ever.

I didn't mind Paula's lip-synching so much as I did the synthesized voice. You don't know what she sounds like. I thought she did a good job, though. It was a believable performance and she didn't embarrass herself.

I was surprised that Allison was sent home too. I also wanted Adam and Allison in the finale. In today's pop music, it seems like everybody's voice is synthesized.

Good thing I didn't put down any money on AI as I would have lost, because I was sure Kris was a goner. And what was up with No Doubt?? Did someone open a time capsule from the 80s and not tell me And some people have a problem with what Adam looks like, did you get a look at the guy from No Doubt with the leotards and the tutu Adam looks normal.

I don't think they got it right last night but I sure am happy about Kris being saved. I would buy his album and as much as I feel Adam has the most talent, I would not buy his and really who cares because alot of people would.

Alaskayorkie, I agree this had to be a TOP final four. Yet as far as winners go no one could top David Cook in my book ever.

OK last night was a shock to me, not just because of the vote out, but because there were so many votes called in. (I'm not even going to start on why they can't get people to go out and vote for their own states)

I'm just wondering how many parents are going to be in shock when their phone bills come in, last I heard each vote is $1.99. Now I could be wrong on this, I have no idea, but I do know every night they are putting the phone numbers out he says be careful how you vote, these are not 1 800 numbers.


I think all of the top four will do great win or not they will still make it.
Not really sure who I would pick for the win, our daughter wants Danny to win.

I just want my 8:00 bedtime back.

Gina, the 866 #'s are toll free. I know A. I. must have a great deal with the phone company on test messages because if they are purchased one at a time they are quite expensive but with a plan they can be as little as 1 cent. Let's say they all are only 1 cent with millions calling in week after week in that manner, the phone co's have to have a big on their face. Then just think of those texting not on a plan $$$$$$$.

when Kris to threw. I was soooooooooooo happy.
I also liked very much over the past years, Clay Aiken(I actually worked
one of his shows at the Tropacana in A/C and also Elliot Yamen.
