| My Tiny Treasures Donating Member | I went to Walmart today to check out the models inperson before buying and wanted to know if anyone owns these models: Walmart.com: Bissell ProHeat 2X Upright Deep Cleaner, 8920: Appliances And then this one Walmart.com: Bissell ProHeat 2X(R) CleanShot Upright Deep Cleaner: Appliances There is almost a $100 difference and I need to know the differences and if they make up an extra $100 From what I can see the one for more money has 12 rows of brushes, a sure shot to spray formula and alot more attachments. But does one do the job better??? I hope someone can help!!! |

| Hang in there! We have one of these....I think the cheaper one...but this one may be a newer model? I have to check. I can tell you this. It does work great....but you have to be sure and vacuume really good before you use it. We had to bring ours in for a repair once already...within the first year... a major part broke. It was under warrenty so it didn't cost anything. Recently, a belt broke but my husband is handy and I was able to order one from Bissell on line and he replaced it. Otherwise, I love it! I will try and get the model # and post it later for you but I'm pretty sure it was under $200...hope this helps!!!

| I have the blue one, the first one listed, and I really like it. I have never used the attachments because I also have the little green. But as far as the carpet cleaning goes, it is a wonderful machine. I have never used the solution that is made by Bissel, I use Mrs. Meyers pet safe oxygenated powder dissolved in warm water and fill the "cleaning solution container" with it instead. It works great! And my machine does just fine not using the Bissel approved stuff!

| Mine is actually the earlier model: Bissell ProHeat Turbo Upright Deep Cleaner So I would say that since we've had some problems it would be worth going a step up at least! We also have not had problems using other cleaning solutions with ours. With 2 furbabies it is sooo worth the investment though! Good luck!

| Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Our local K-Mart was going out of business,so I picked up this cleaner for a great price, and I love it. The brushes are awesome and I love the hot water feature. You have to clean it after every use...it's important. Good Luck...It's a necessity with these pups...lol
