It does work great....but you have to be sure and vacuume really good before you use it. We had to bring ours in for a repair once already...within the first year... a major part broke. It was under warrenty so it didn't cost anything. Recently, a belt broke but my husband is handy and I was able to order one from Bissell on line and he replaced it. Otherwise, I love it! I will try and get the model # and post it later for you but I'm pretty sure it was under $200...hope this helps!!!
