I think its a sickness in a way. My grandma's animals are always morbidly obese. The vet always tells her that they HAVE to lose weight, but my grandma just about cries if her animals are begging to eat and she is trying not to feed them so much. She always gives in. She is terrified of them starving. When she comes to my house for a holiday, she makes each one of my animals a plate of food. We tell her not to, so she sneaks it to them. I love my grandma so much, but I get very annoyed with her compulsion to feed animals until they are about to explode. I think some parents are like that with their children. It's like the second their child whines about being hungry, they worry they are going to starve to death.

Well, you know what, She is happy! When I was happily in love I gained alot of weight too! I received remarks how great I look and love did me good. She must be happy! Hell, I'm happy. I have weigh more than ever! LOL!

It is completely ridiculous what the media is doing to her. The outfit wasn't very flattering but she is on the cover of all of the gossip magazines this week. Earth shattering news: Jessica gained some weight! Horrible! I can't imagine having cameras following me to scrutinize every pound I gain or lose.

I know the feeling I was 10 lbs more than you and a few inches taller and I always got teased for being "skinny". Funny how some think you only get teased when your are "over weight" and don't think about the opposite spectrum. I used to envy all the girls that were "developing"..I used to cry about it, try weider weight gain shakes, read ads about making your boobs bigger LOL I went on a junk food diet just to try and ad weight. Now that I am older I have gained a few more pounds ! Ha!
Once I worked in a large company and we had just gotten out of a management meeting and were in the elevator. Some lady gets on and literally says "My God your anorexic-aren't you". I just laughed but jeezz my heart ached from embarrassment and hurt... So.....more power to Jessica simpson. She is a "hottie" no matter what her size and wouldn't we have a wonderful world if everyone could judge people for what is on the inside instead of our weight, color, clothes, money, etc....etc.....

Some ppl just can't see their animals or children asking for food even once. My bf's parents feed their dog everything they eat. They give him a full plate size of human food, so much that he leaves some left. He is a yr old and already fat. But he has a lot of hair so maybe he looks fatter. Dogs will ask for food right after you feed them. They are dogs, they will keep taking as much food as you give. Some ppl don't understand that and over feed. I just tell them if they're not sure, do their research.

Real woman should believe in themselves and feel good about how they look. Doesn't matter if they could stand to lose a few pounds or stand to gain a few. If they are proud to be themselves then more power too them. There are health issues with any extreme and the people at these extremes generally don't feel good about themselves. Its sad.

I'm a size 14 at the moment, but I wear my weight well, and am physically active. Who cares. In 8 months I'm gonna put on Lord only knows how much weight for my baby and it may never all go away. Life goes on and I wouldn't trade my child for a size 2 waist.

I totally agree, Jessica Simpson is NOT fat. Yet...she is NOT a size two. It gets me mad when these women claim to be a size 0, 2, whatever.

Example: ""I am completely disgusted. Since when did a woman's weight become newsworthy? How can we expect teenage girls to love and respect themselves in an environment where we criticize a size two figure?--Ashlee Simpson.

I think some girls might say things like that to others who are so small because it helps them feel better about themselves if they are insecure with their own size. I have a friend who is my age and height (give or take an inch) and is a size 1, she was a size 0 before she had her daughter then got up to a 2 and is now a 1. And it's just genetics, she doesn't eat a certain way and doesn't work out, her mom is really small and so is she. And some of my bigger friends don't like her because she is so small, and it's more or less a jealousy issue.
Not everyone may think that way, but I think it's a way for a lot of people to deal with it. Instead of internalizing their problem they project it onto the person they are jealous of.

If people are doing that because they are jealous, then they are pretty immature. There is no reason to put other people down to make yourself feel good. I have insecurities too, but I don't go around cutting people down because of it. That's just wrong.

CLASS AND CONFIDENCE

If you have these two things you are going to be attractive. You are also going to be despised by those who don't possess the same qualities.

The sycophants and myrmidons that make up the hollywood press exist as parasites on a dysfunctional animal, they will never make sense to a thinking world. For them there is nothing sweeter than tearing down in a few weeks what you have built up over a few years. The stars can't become stars without them....but they probably won't survive their fickle temper either.

Oh, no doubt! I wasn't saying it's ok, I was just saying that I think that is a big part of why smaller girls get treated that way.
I get the same kind of grief from women, only for me it's because of my chest size.
